My daughter has gone to Coppell Pediatrics since she was 5 yrs old - she is now 20. She is the best skilled doctor and always has the child's best interest in mind. She is very honest and straight forward. Dr. Schlichtemeier was quick to identify the medical issue and she spends valuable amount of time. She gives best advices to students about their physical/mental health and checks on their progress. I am nervous to move out of the hospital as my daughter is an adult now. My kids go to this clinic for years . Everything seems good to me! Just keep your appointment on time and don't cancel your appointment less then 4 hours before the appointment. Nurse or doctor They're all great!!!

Such a waste of time with the front office. We can never get an appointment with Dr Tammi and we only get an appointment with the Nurse. Even after making an appointment with Nurse practitioner they ask us to wait at the backdoor, but no one cares though you wait there for 40 minutes. So when asked to reschedule the appointment, they rescheduled it for the next day and we were told that I do not have appointment for Nurse visit and we have it only for testing. Why would anyone make an appointment for testing alone when we clearly wanted to see the doctor/nurse? This place is a mess and I would not recommend. Such a waste of time with the front office. I do not recommend this doctor or clinic. They take forever with referrals and communication is terrible. Dr Tami has no empathy, never smiles, and did not apologize when they gave my autistic son the same vaccine twice.

I don’t recommend Tammi or this clinic. Their staff doesn’t respond to msgs or calls on time. They take several weeks to give referrals and always don’t even call you to update the status until you follow-up and end up saying Tammi is preparing for surgery which is not one time. I had very bad experience with this facility. The purpose of our visit for blood work was not fulfilled and they have done all the other tests that we have not even requested for and said they ran out of blood for the tests we asked for. We are out of town and can’t get these tests until we return back. If you want the pediatrician that gives personalized care for your child, I will not suggest this doctor. They don’t feel responsible and just simply say it was miscommunication on their part. And last but not least the wait time is more which is atleast an hour even if you are on time and good luck to you if you/ your child has to deal with this staff and specially Tammi . This issue going on for more than 6 month. I call and ask for vision and hearing report for kids school, as my kid portal not working, as staff created 2 profiles with wrong DOB, after wasting my hours, I find out staff lost their reports. So I need to go to the Dr. Office again in pandemic with kids. I ask for the office Manager but the lady told me I am helping, you get the reports @ the end of the visit, and no charge for the visit, as is Dr. Office's fault. I took my kids there and get tests but didn’t get the reports, told me I will get thin the email on file. I called after a week and wasted my hours, no one knows what I am saying? We can’t see reports when you came here? I ask again for the offic manager, staff didn’t want to transfer, keep saying I will try to help. Finally one lady told me I found the reports ar uploaded in bulk, I am emailing you. Didn’t receive till today but on Thursday received a bill for this service and insurance refused as is once a year deal

I didn’t want to take my kids back to that creepy place but if they didn’t fix my billing issue I will go to authorities as well, to show how they making money in a slowdown in a pandemic. Shame on you guys.

I go there only to see the Nurse She is the best and very very professional more than the Dr Million times . We love her

Well, she is very cold and speaks to you like a robot. Unfeeling and not a good fit for us. I mentioned something I was feeling physically and she said I may have an issue with my heart and and went on and on about it, scared me to death! She had no right to say those things when she was not even my Dr. Wow. I was fine btw. Also, they botched my sons circumcision and it was so infected that we had to have surgery to fix it, but we went to a urologist. They did not have on call hours and my son had a bad reaction to a vaccine. I had nobody to speak to about it! I called another local Pediatrician, Dr. Mac and he helped me after hours and we were not even his patient, but we are now!

Dont go to this doctor unless you want to be dismissed and belittled

I've read several reviews on Dr. Tammi. I met her, and she spent a valuable amount of time with us for just a well check up. She talked directly to my 11 year old. I've never seen a Dr. do that. Her bedside manner was excellent, I don't know what other reviews are talking about. The receptionist was great, the nurse? great. I'm picky about my Family Physicians/dentists/pediatricians, and she sets a high bar. She EVEN explained something about my son that I had never heard before! My younger 2 boys loved their visit too. I am so grateful for Dr. Schlichtemeier! She is an amazing Dr with lots of knowledge and genuine concern for her babies. My son has down syndrome and from the first visit with her, she was very helpful and gave lots of resources and information on how to care for and what to expect from a downs baby. I definitely recommend her for your child's healthcare needs.

This doctor is rude mean and cold hearted. She doesn’t have any children so emotionally she is not able to connect with my kids or me. She talks at you instead of to you. She is good at what she does diagnosing and treating but she does not have the ppl skills that it takes to keep you as a patient. I stopped going to her two weeks ago.

I have been reading reviews and have to say I'm completely dumfounded as to why any parent would ask a pediatrician to be more lovey dovey than straight forward. Dr. Schlictemeier is the BEST pediatrician... Hands down!!!! Take it from a parent who has a child that NO ONE could oror wou take the time to figure out what was going with my child but she not only took the time but stayed up late with us waiting for test results, asked other doctors for help and when we finally got the not at all common diagnosis she continued to go above and beyond to make sure my daughter got every single possible thing she needed. Not just medical wise but emotional and educational. She was on phone calls with the school district, teachers and TEA and NEVER once days she didn't have the time and NEVER asked for a single dime in compensation She did the same for my son and our good daughter so I'm VERY offended that anyone would say that she is not the absolute exception when it comes to pediatricians. Dr. Schlictemeier ONLY cares for your child, if you want someone to care for your feelings more then by all means find another doctor but stop leaving bad reviews for someone that doesn't deserve it. My son and I have been going to Dr. Schlichtemeir for over 5 years. She is caring and very thorough and she talks to my son directly explaining things to him. When we moved - we make the 40 minute drive because of her work ethics. Dr. Schlichtemeir is up to speed on ADHD and has made excellent recommendations that took us to an excellent Occupational Therapist. Her staff has been nothing but accommodating and polite. Both of my daughters have been seen by Dr. Schlichtemeier for several years. She is a skilled doctor and always has the child's best interest in mind. She is very honest and straight forward. Recently, her office office was put to the test when my daughter became very ill. Dr. Schlictemeier was quick to identify the medical issue and my daughter was admitted to Childrens immediately. Because of the office quick response, by the time I arrived at Childrens Hospital, the office had provided Childrens all the information needed to admit my daughter quickly. This saved us time at the hospital and allowed my daughter to go straight into surgery. This office has always been quick when it comes to paperwork which is an important quality for parents. Her time is valuable and allows sick children to get the medical attention they need. I would recommend this office to any parent wanting a skilled pediatrician. Based on the poor reviews I read, I felt compelled to write an opposing view of my own. My daughter has gone to Coppell Pediatrics since she was born - she is now 14. At first we started with Dr. Schlichtemeier and at one point we switched to another pediatrician that was in the office due to her bedside manner, but eventually went back to Dr. Schlichtemeir because there is no better doctor when your child is sick. She caught two potentially serious illnesses with my daughter and made sure she got expedited care and she was extremely thorough in her follow-up. The wait for appts. is sometimes long, but it is the same at most doctors. I can't say enough about Dr. Schlichtemeier if your priority is good health care. After reading the poor reviews on Dr. Schlichtemeier, I want to clarify one thing: Dr. Schlichtemeier is not rude, and doesn't have poor bedside manners. She is very straight and to the point, and some of us parents appreciate that. She is a wonderful Dr, who actually cares about her patients. So much in fact, that she had the office manager call and apologize after they refused to let her see my son because I didn't have an actual insurance card on me when I went in. He was an established patient, and they had his up to date insurance info, I was just adding secondary insurance and had not received the card yet. They didn't even give me an option to let me pay for the visit out of pocket, which I would have gladly done just so my very sick child who has Rheumatic Fever could be seen. The girl at the front was extremely rude and looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language when I asked why he couldn't just be seen even if I had to pay for the visit and lose that money. I will say however, that the office staff is the worst I have ever, in my 7 years as a parent seen. I really wish the office staff was better trained, that would eliminate the pain of having to deal with them just to see Dr. Schlichtemeier. Overall she is Ok. Few concerns: -If you expect a friendly greeting and a warm smile from the doctor upon visit, look elsewhere. -Office visits are expensive. Paying 30 to 40% more than previous pediac. -Most concerning is your child is seen by not the Doctor but the nurse practitioner, unless otherwise you specifically demand to be seen by Doctor. You are still charged at the same rate (no discounted rate) and i personally found nurse practitioner not at all qualified for the job. Frustrating

Liked how they could schedule us in right away and would see us right away, very little waiting time. Did not like that I felt like I had no say in when my child got vaccinated. I didn't want my child vaccinated when he was already sick but they still wanted to give him vaccines so I did not return.

She saw my daughter after delivery at las Colinas. She is very rude and unprofessional. She claimed my daughter was jaundiced because she has very fair skin but her jaundice levels were fine. She is very prejudiced and racist. She made our stay at las Colinas a nightmare.
