She is an amazing orthapedic surgeon. I was having shoulder pain for two years and she diagnosed and fixed my issue with surgery. She is fantastic!!

Clearly very experienced. She repaired my husband's shoulder surgery he originally had at St. Mary's and her bedside manner was fantastic.

Dr. Scerpella, is an amazing orthopedic surgeon. She listened to my story of what has been going on with my knee. She did surgery and she had re-assured me that my knee is going to be fixed. Dr. Tamara Scerpella is nothing short of BRILLIANT! She repaired a very rare injury (total subluxation) that I was blessed with after a car accident. Dr. Scerpella performed a Tib Fib reconstruction with a ham string autograph to repair my leg. This repair changed my life, and allowed me the opportunity to resume the activities I couldn't do and would not have been able to do without having this surgery. Dr. Scerpella, and her entire team treated me with respect, and always gave their full attention to my concerns, and questions. She is THE BEST Ortho surgeon around. ACL reconstruction and LCL repair surgery was done. Everything from preoperation to the operation itself was done with the professionalism you’d expect from a surgeon and the care that you’d expect from a family member. Dr. Scerpella and her team was nothing less than remarkable.

Had a knee/ACL surgery performed by her and was beyond pleased. I cannot say enough good things about her, and her staff! I had suffered with bad knees for about 20 yrs and now one is fixed and has given me no terrible for a year! Ella Husom from sports medicine was incredibly kind and helpful, as well :). I far as I can tell everything went smoothly, I was off of crutches the day after the surgery with very little pain or discomfort. Her and her staff are friendly.

I was referred to Dr. Scerpella by an out of network orthopedic surgeon because of a rare injury. I could not have received better care. She is attentive and caring. Dr. Scerpella knew exactly how to fix my leg! And, as an added bonus, her bedside manor is wonderful. I was the 3rd patient she performed a "Tib/Fib reconstruction with a hamstring autograph". She is AMAZING, and did indeed fix my leg. Go see her... unless you DON'T want the best. #healed #grateful #blessedtobeunderhercare.

Whatever you do, DON'T question the actions of any of her staff! When you do & ask why you were treated rudely, she will argue about how perfect her staff is & drop you as a patient. She will tell you she will call you no later than the following day& NEVER call. Don't cross your arms because she will tell you that you're being adversarial, without asking why they're crossed. NOT GOOD AT PATIENT RELATIONS!!!!

Dr. Scerpella is fantastic! I'm a medically complicated case, and she's spent over a year and a half trying all sort of methods--not just surgery--to fix my injury and help me walk. She is often running late for appointments, but it's because she spends the time she needs to with the patients, not the time that UW Health says she should. She is super smart and caring; she makes the best decision for the patient, even if it's a difficult one.
