Run! She got half of my paperwork wrong and after I told her there was breast cancer in my family she wrote no breast cancer in the family. Not a particularly caring Dr.

I'm sure she is very good at what she does, (I am a current patient) but I fail to understand how she can have so little caring about such things as arriving on time to appointments. I have had 2 appointments and I waited one hour and 15 minutes the first time. She was rushed I also asked her about my cancer being Estrogen receptive and she answered, "I don't know" I had to contact my surgeon to get the answer. My second appointment was scheduled for 9 am. She arrived at 9:40.

Dr Talya Schwarzberg, Oncologist treated my mother "AC" for Metastatic Breast Cancer. My mom died 2 days before her 65th birthday. My mom believed in Dr Schwarzberg, had 110% confidence in her approach, guidance, and treatment course. I never had the pleasure to meet her face-to-face, but did encounter phone calls, and text messaging with her. My experience, was Dr Schwarzberg was responsive, but not holistic. As doctors, especially Oncologist you have the most challenging jobs in the world. When my mother passed away, no one from their office reached out to my dad, who was at every appt with her, he was her care taker, he supported her day & night for years. A simple phone call, or even a letter extending sorrow would have gone a long way. This practice should be standardized for all who deal with death & dying. Missing my mom everyday. Could not have asked for a better doctor. She has been my doctor since 2010 and she's constantly working on getting the latest answers to my issue.

The lack of manners exhibited by this woman was appalling. Not only did she appear rushed, twice she looked at her cell phone while discussing my wife's stage IV cancer.. THEN, she actually took a phone call about her DISHWASHER repair! Her lack of concern and compassion was obvious, it appeared goal was to finish with us as quickly as possible. None of staff introduced themselves, it was an unpleasant office environment with staff standing and joking right in front of us while we waited.
