She has been grossly mismanaging my mother's diabetes to horrible proportions and now that I've discovered it I'm taking over and changing her doctor. She REFUSES to give ANY refills for insulin, all boxes say "0 refills." And this is not normal according to others I know taking care of diabetic parents or grandparents. When my mom tries to get a refill she is told she has to go through blood work all over again. Dr never asks for her log of readings during the day (which are really good, almost normal) she insists on her having a blood draw every single month and will not refill her insulin until she does it. By then my mom hasn't had her insulin for days or a week, trying to manage without it so of course she tests high when she goes in for those draws. Then Dr. Khan tried to add medications on top of insulin to drop it back down based on tests taken when she hadn't had insulin for days. Under normal circumstances that would have killed her or put her in a coma because her sugar is almost normal when she has her insulin!!!On top of that she takes more than a month to even review the tests and give results so she's ordering my mom to come in for more blood work when she hadn't even gone over the previous months bloodwork. The last test the assistant called and told my mom something was really wrong and she needed to come in to see doctor. Made an appointment, went and the doctor was "too busy" to talk with my mom even though she had an appointment to do so! Then she was told her sugar and blood pressure were high, that was the only issue. She freaked my mom out thinking she had some sort of organ failure showing or something. This doctor is crazy, who the heck treats a patient like this. I asked the pharmacist if it's normal with this particular insulin for a patient to require to test at a lab monthly with full blood draw each time, he said absolutely NOT and also inferred that they see problems with this doctor's prescriptions all the time. I'm done, and this doctor shouldn't be practicing. Insulin for a diabetic is LIFE AND DEATH. Its not like my mom is trying to get refills on pain or psyche meds or something sketchy, it's insulin to keep her alive!!!!

Dr Khan has been the biggest blessing for myself and my family. I have several chronic Illnesses and she has taken the time to explain them all to me and set up a game plan. She has been able to get me off of my diabetic medication. With my elderly parents and Uncle she takes time to listen to their concerns and reassure or explain their treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. Khan and her staff. She is the only doctor that I would trust with my families well being....Joy Vera. Dr Khan has been the biggest blessing for myself and my family. Worst experience I've had with a Dr. Wouldn't even let me finish a sentence. How can you diagnose someone without hearing them out? Waste of time and money. Dr. Kayla Monterey is the only Dr. to see.

I have been with Dr Khan, for about 10year she know me personally. I can count on her being interest in my well being. I don't need to go to great length to see her. she make me feel good about our wellness plan to lose weight and my high blood pressure so.I won't be going no where thank you Dr Khan
