I am very satisfied with the overall experience, diagnosis, doctor to patient interaction and concern shown. Both my husband and I were very pleased with the answers to the questions we asked.

Dr. Tae Shin is a very professional doctor. Very knowledgeable and and expert in his field. Takes his time in talking to each individual patient within their level of understanding ( never in a hurry ) and answers all the patients questions and concern. Would highly recommend to all my family and friends. He did a superb job in doing my lumbar spinal fusion!!!

The doctor was very thorough in explanations.

NOT A LONG WAITING PERIOD. EVERYONE WAS NICE. Now you can't get through they don't answer messages

As a child I was taught that if you do not have anything nice to say, you should not say it. Dr. Shin treated me with disrespect as I tried to tell him that I had a hearing impairment, and was unable to clearly hear him several times. This was aggrevated by the fact that we were both wearing a face mask.Nevertheless,he screamed at me in a viscious and unprofessional way. Perhaps the Dr. should take a course on how to be polite to his patients, especially for those who are seniors.Terrible experience, will not return to his office. Dr. Shin is clear with information, he listens to you, does what he says he will and is very kind and gentle to speak with. He's just great.

I was most satisfied following my visit with Dr. Shin who covered all the bases and was very informative in giving me an action plan to follow.

For some reason my son’s name appears but it was me Courtney. I adore Dr Shin he is just wonderful and has treated me so well, I can’t say enough good things about him and his staff.

Dr. Shin is incredibly caring and knowledgable. He really takes his time and after a painful insurance runaround to find continuing care, we actually felt heard and cared for by Do. Shin. The incredible team of nurses and admin deserve mention as well as it is a bright, tight and right ship they have running there---clearly providing the utmost to so many. Dr. Shin was right on the issue with ease to understand. He was precise in explaining the problem and the follow up treatment schedule. Very gentle manner and kind to the patient. We were considering going o a big institutions but we made a good decision to see him. Highly recommend him.

Customer service at front desk is discussing. No respect for a patients. Please Tae M Shin MD do something. It's very hard to work at front desk I do undestand that but with this attitude all patients will gonna chose different doctors. This is one of the unprofessional medical offices in Los Angeles and this last time I'm visiting this office. Please all patients chose doctors office wisely.

No communication. Very vague and unconcerned. He never addressed what was on the MRI report that HE ordered. I stayed in pain and found out from other doctors way later on what was on the report. He took his time 3 weeks completing paper work for a referral request to a neurologist. The office expressed that he did not compete the paper work even 3 weeks later . Very strange ! I've been to many doctors and Ive never experienced this lack of treatment . The office is overloaded with patients and they are too busy to fax important paper work to other doctors and Dr. Shin treats every patient like a number. Please seek care elsewhere ! I broke my finger and Dr. Shin set it on 1 hour's notice, then a year later I had some hip issues, which Dr. Shin addressed. Very knowledgeable, got bed-side manner, excellent at explaining things and being supportive of my efforts.

Never even met with this doctor, although the authorization gave his name. Instead his so called partner Mark Jacobson came into the room without notice. Proceeded to make discriminatory jokes about my husband, who is legally blind, “Not being blind and carrying the cane for the blind like a Chanel bag!” Outraged I filed a complaint with Good Samaritan hospital and to date there has been no response. Your wisdom, your kindness, all of your extra hours and, most of all, your surgical skills that returned my mother back to good health and back to being her active self. Thank you also for your clear and succinct explanations throughout our consultation.

I've had 5 months of terrible pain in my back, and I was taking very strong pain pills, taking various kind of shots, and name it, I did it all including acupunctures. Nothing worked and pain was getting worse. Finally decided to have the surgery. I was going to interview three doctors, but I was convinced with Dr. Shin at first interview. He was very calm, detailed minded, and very precise at every subjects. I did discussed with my son who is a MD, and I was told that to go ahead with Dr. Shin. Dr. Shin performed a hip replacement on me in August of 2015. He was more than amazing. I recovered so quickly and he was always available for me. He has an impressive educational background and has great experience. I feel blessed to know him and have recommended him to family and friends.

Dr. Shin has been my doctor for the past three years, how fortunate I was to find an orthopedic of his caliber. He is a extremely busy doctor but he always makes me feel like I am his only appointment. His has a calm, kind demeanor and patiently answers mine and my daughters many questions. Dr. Shin told me the first time I saw him "No matter what the tests results are the human body is an amazing thing and can sometimes heal itself." Days that I am struggling and in a lot of pain his words keep me believing I can recover. Thank-you Dr. Shin for taking such superb care of me, you are a brilliant doctor. Dr. Shin was very knowledgeable about my case. He took his time to answer all my questions, and I hope all doctors are like him. I'm doing well now, thanks to Dr. Shin.

When I made my appointment, I had to wait a full month and I was in constant pain the whole month. My doctor was on vacation, so I could not get any help. I asked if they ever had cancelations, I was told NO! I showed up for my appointment 10 minutes early only to find 20 people sitting in his waiting room. I made the decision to walk out and find another doctor. Dr.Shins cattle call, mass production, see as many patients as possible everyday is not the kind of medicine that I want.

I found Dr. Shin's judgement wise, as well as reassuring. He clearly has an immense amount of expertise in his field. I have had quite a few operations in my days- but I've never found a doctor with such skills and acumen. I will definitely be returning to his office.

He always sits and discusses my condition thoroughly with me and patiently answers all mine and my daughter's many question's. He is an expert in his field. It was great. I had 2 knee arthroscopy surgery with Dr. Shin and everything went well.. And all the services and everthing came out what you've been expecting.. And he is still seeing me till now for follow up check ups. I will highly recomend Dr. Tae Shin.

Dr Shin spent maybe 5 mins with me before running out to see another patient. He didn't even touch the injured leg or move it to confirm the diagnosis. Glad you have xray eyes and can see through my skin. It took him a week to complete my chart in which will still take another week before I get approval on referrals.
