Dr. Tomita, is the very BEST! He is patient and goes out of his way to make the children and the parents comfortable. He has a kind heart and we've been blessed to have him be the surgeon of our son.

My husband and I met Dr. Tomita shortly after we found out that our son was going to be born with severe hydrocephalus. He operated after our son was born and put in a VP shunt. Dr. Tomita has been excellent to work with.

So many good things to say about Dr. Tomita!! He preformed surgery on my 11yr old son to remove a benign brain tumor. It was such a scary time for us with many uncertainties, but Dr. Tomita was patient with us and answered our questions and put our fears at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Tomita and the staff at Ann and Robert H Lurie Children's Hospital.

Dr. Tomita performed surgery on our son with open spina bifida at time of birth. Our son is 7 now and walks and runs with his two sisters. He has above normal test scores and has never had a VP shunt. Happy kid. Couldn't have dreamed of a better outcome.
