If he ever leaves I am going with him! Not only did he save me by performing a successful Whipple 10 yrs ago, he sill Cares about my well being following me yearly. I am so pleased to have him.

Dr. Ahmad and his staff are phenomenal!!! I had a major pancreas surgery in June and he is a remarkable surgeon and UC is very lucky to have him! We had been monitoring a pre cancerous cyst that showed up on a CT scan for about 3 years and he suggested surgery to remove part of the pancreas where the cyst was located as it had been growing slowly over the 3 years. This had been supported by my 2nd opinion visit to John Hopkins Cancer Center as well. In fact, when John Hopkins heard who my surgeon was I had been working with in Cincinnati they even stated I was in great hands with Dr. Ahmad! He took the time to educate me on each visit leading up to the surgery. When the pathology report came back post surgery, Dr. Ahmad got it just in time as it likely would have progressed to pancreatic cancer if we would have waited too much longer. I am forever thankful for Dr. Ahmad and his amazing team!!!!

It has been 15 years since Dr. Ahmad performed surgery. He is the best!!!

Dr. Ahmad is an outstanding oncology surgeon. Saved my life with Whipple Procedure. Communication with Dr. Ahmad and his office staff is incredible. Highly recommend.

I loved Dr Ahmad, he saved my mom life, along with all of us life too, without his excellent medical help,our mom wouldn’t still be here today with us, mom is everything to us,we always be thankful for him! He is wonderful, he’ll do what best for you , I can always trust in him.

Dr. Ahmad saves lives. I am 9 months Cancer free thanks to him.. He commands a large and loyal staff who provided the best possible care... This includes the nurses, aides and support at University Hospital. My experience with him and the staff was wonderful. I have the benefit of a year past the operation to see it all from a distance but it truly was a good experience to get the results.. Don't hesitate to put your life in Dr. Ahmads hands...

Dr. Ahmad has a stellar reputation within the medical profession, however, patients are treated like they are on an assembly line, & everyone receives the same care. Further, his bedside manner leaves much to be desired. Dismissive & rude are the terms that spring to mind. While in the hospital, you are largely left in the care of residents while he travels the country. For all I know, he's the best surgeon in the world at what he does, but personal contact with patients is definitely a weakness

I have ( had) Meatastic appendix cancer which is a very rare cancer . When it was discovered , it had already progressed to 5 tumors within my colon , on my ovaries and within my abdomen . Dr. Syed A. Ahmad performed surgery along with Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) and was successful at removing all of it. He was supposed to just be my second opinion doctor , but once I met him and he explained everything in terms I could understand , I knew he was the right doctor for me .Not only is he talented and knowledgeable, he is very personable. I also have to say he has an expert and caring team on his staff, and Laura , his assistant, is top notch in my book.Thank You to Dr Ahmad , his team , and to University of Cincinnati for everything! Incredible doctor! From the moment you meet him, you realize how good he is. When I asked other doctors to recommend a surgeon for a Whipple, without hesitation, they would reply Dr Ahmad.
