I went for my appointment today, June 22 at 2:00 and the receptionist said that my appointment was June 15. I had the appointment card that I received at my last appointment. I showed it to her. It CLEARLY said June 22 at 2:00. She insisted that my appointment was the 15th and that I would have to reschedule. I said that I would reschedule with ANOTHER doctor. This is just one of several problems I had at this practice. It took 27 days for me to get the results of my Echo test. I called many times. The woman at the Heart & Vascular Center was surprised that I didn't get my results promptly.

Attentive, caring, knowledgeable. Great listener and shows empathy and concern and is thorough.

Dr. has been one of the most attentive doctors and best listener I have had. The bar is quite low in that regard but I am grateful to feel comfortable here and appreciate all of their work especially during this pandemic. However when calling a nurse complaining of severe pain that did not go away after five days of home remedies and a clinic, specialist, and ER visit, and desperately asking for care and help, she offered to cancel my upcoming appointment with them until I felt better which seemed rather counterintuitive to my pleas for help. It seems you have to do a lot of strong self advocacy to be taken seriously if medical settings if you are not collapsing. I had to do a lot of insisting and asking to get a prescription and some advice to just help me last until I could see someone that could help me. A lot of issues are just referred out to others and get lost in that bureaucratic mess of jumping around from place to place to simply get a test and diagnosis Dr. has been one of the most attentive doctors and best listener I have had. She takes her time and listens to you.

I needed to switch my PCP, I wasn't too happy with my last visit. I decided to stop into the Heritage Valley Office where Dr. Stragand was on staff. I asked if the doctors were accepting new patients, and after a suggestion by one of the receptionists, I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Stragand. This is, by far, one of the nicest, most thorough doctors I have ever had. She is very friendly, never rushes your appointment, and has my complete trust in her opinions regarding my health.

She is fantastic. Very thorough and caring. Always takes time to listen and advise.

She has been my PCP for years now, best doctor I've ever had to be honest. Always listens to everything I have to say and gives me all the tools and tips I need to get better.

Very nice doctor. However, her PA leaves a lot to be desired. I wasn't liking my medication and called to see what my options were. Dr. Stragand wasn't in the office like always, so the PA was contacted instead and basically told me to suck it up. Changing my PCP asap.
