Susan L. Pauly

Dr. Pauly worked with my children and my marriage while going through serious medical issues for me and difficult issues in the marriage that affected the children. She was very patient and kind and waited for us, not talking before we had a chance to think. She also had great ideas for us that gave us new dates. Dr. Pauly is a true woman of God helping others with her job.

While her practice does tend to run behind at times, she otherwise is an excellent therapist. Her faith-based approach is combined well with professional practice. She has helped me through a difficult grief journey and my daughter manage and reduce her anxiety and depression. It’s best to schedule appts at the end of a session l, because she does take a while to get back with you at times. It’s a small practice and she doesn’t employ an asssistant, but positives far outweigh the negatives.

It is nearly impossible to get in touch with her to schedule appointments, she doesn't seem knowledgeable in her field, and she spends a lot of the session talking about herself. Her office is nice enough, which is good because you spend almost 45 minutes waiting there for your appointment. I strongly recommend finding another therapist.

Always wait at least 45 minutes to be seen. Fails to return phone calls in a timely manner, even after phoning multiple times, waited months and never received a call back. Professional knowledge lacking and easily offended in session(s).
