We took our son in for medical testing. blood test were performed and sent to us directly from the lab. We called upon receipt of the test and left a message for the doctor. The doctor never returned our call. The doctors office called back a week later and wanted to schedule a time to discuss the blood work. They then informed us they lost and or did not receive the results. Poor poor service. Will never use again.

Terrible customer service

I love the Dr (personally), but how the practice is ran and the scheduling matching appointment times needs adjusting ASAP!! Two of my children have gone here for years and since my younger one has recently had some issues needing more frequent dr visits, it has been brutal. I've arrived early and on time to every visit, and an average MINIMUM wait time to be called into a room is 30-40-50 min , THEN , another wait time (in the room) for an additional 40 min. So, including the actual time seeing Dr/staff added to wait times, each Dr visit takes over 2 and half hours , sometimes even 3 hours long!! How can ANY small child, toddler, or baby, etc be comfortable waiting that long?? Or being pulled from work, and/or school to be at visits this long, is quite irritating. Especially, being in "Pediatrics" , this issue should be a concern to be addressed, (at least if any patient needs to see the doctor more than once a year). I love Susan Fernandez! Some of her Ma gives shot incorrectly I’ve been an Ma for 15 years and I would never refuse a patient who wanted to give there child a shot. Literally 1 Ma knows what she’s doing. And she was very rude and refused to give my child her shots because she was so busy to take 2 minutes of her time now they lost 5 patients! But besides her staff Dr Fernandez is amazing so sad I’m leaving her l. I love Susan Fernandez! My son goes to Susan Fernandez and let me just put out a warning to all that see her. If your baby/child has an odd head shape and she says not to worry because the soft spots are still open. Get a neurologists opinion!!! The other pediatrician that works at horizon pediatrics referred my son to one and they told me he has metopic craniosynostosis(the plates in his forehead are fused, causing a triangular shape and would cause major problems for children effected. There is no room for the brain to grow forward.) This is a problem that needs surgery and he unfortunately has to get surgery in the next month. Very scary and frustrating that I was misinformed. Doctors and workers are very nice. They do a good job. my both kids go there. Don’t know why their reviews are kind low, I’ve been to few different ones this place is Seattle.

Dr. Fernandez herself was a good doctor but her office dropped the ball multiple times on important test results, calling in medications and overall wait times being an hour plus. We went to Dr. Fernandez for many years and eventually changed pediatricians. I do agree with prior comments that the office staff is not friendly and does not know how to treat people.

I had to shop around the valley for a good pediatrician and Dr. Fernandez is the kindest pediatrician I have ever met. She has a way with children.

Staff is lazy .

Dr. Fernandez is the best pediatric out there and I do highly recommend her. If you don’t have twins you’ll be better helped here then at most. The only issue was twins is the lady doing the billing NOTHING to do with the doctor. The only reason why I can’t give 5 stars is because the lady in the front named Rose is horrible she is also the one who does billing and I believe is office manager. My insurance had issues with billing twins for some reason they always denied it saying it was double billed. I feel like she was billing incorrectly and literally told me thats not her job to correct it if my insurance isn’t doing it correctly. But every time I called the insurance they told me to have the doctors office call in or rebill and she wouldn’t ever call. I ended up with a HUGE bill because she couldn’t do her job correctly and ended up moving doctors because as a working mom I didn’t have time to fix all of her mistakes. All 3 of my kids go with Dr Fernandez and they love her they have been with her sense they was all born

Dr. Fernandez is the best doctor so very happy I found her for my girls, really takes her time with my teens I even received a call from her directly on Sunday mothers day about a script change, she really cares

I have 4 kids and they have been going to Dr. Fernandez since they were all born. My oldest is now turning 15. Staff is Great! Family Oriented! No insurance problems! I've never experienced any problems at all! they have 2 locations which both are very convienent for me! my kids Love them and the staff Loves them too! My oldest son is 6 & my youngest son is 4 both of my kids have been going to Susan Fernandez since they were born! There has been times I've doubted the doctor but honestly!!!! She's been truly amazing to my boys! Easy to get appointments for them! & they love her!! Even when they get their shots they don't mind! This is one of the best doctors I've been to ! Dr. Fernandez is an awesome doctor, no complaints about her. Office staff not satisfied. You can be standing in the counter as if you don't exist. You are lucky if one of them will greet you or say "hello". Needs to understand what is customer service about. The doctor can loose patients because if these unreliable staff. More so, those mothers I recommended have the same exact impression of the staff/staffs. I miss Ken who is always accomodating and nice.

My kids love Dr. Susan R Fernandez. I have been taking my eldest daughter since she was 2 years old and my other 3 children have been seen by Dr. Fernandez since day 1. As a parent you love the close and personal attention. I 100% recomended Dr. Fernandez. Thank you Dr. Fernandez Familia Ambriz loves you.

I made a doctors appointment one day and then rescheduled a doctors appointment the next day for a different time. My ex-in laws took my son to the doctors and they denied my son services! They stated I had a balance of $160.00 so they would not see him. So you are telling me that $160.00 is more important then my sons health?? one of the lady staff made a very unprofessional comment during my daughter's ear piercing,we dont appreciate her being bitchy..my husband and i doesnt like it and decided to find another pediatrician for our daughter..we are not going back..

Dr. Fernandez is a great and amazing doctor! I found her practice after my daughter's doctor passed away in 2011. The staff was so friendly. I just had twin girls in January and have had the WORST experience ever with the so called "office manager". My twins were both in the NICU when born. One was released before the other. I took her to the doc for her 2 day follow up. At that time their insurance wouldn't cover them until I sent in their birth certificate (which as we all know takes a couple days to receive in the mail) so the office asked that I pay $85. I spoke with Rose the "office manager" or whatever she is asking if it's possible to hold off until I my daughters are put on the insurance and then they can charge my insurance like they normally would. My thought was why pay $85 while on maternity leave with twins and be out $85 and then have to go through getting the money back once the insurance kicks in. Rose was very rude, looked at me like I was some broke monster who just had twins. I explained to her that my two older daughters are established patients there and that I have always paid everything on time. She then proceeded to tell me I owed on a bill from the year prior 2/2013! I thought that was cleared up because I didn't receive a bill from them until 11/2013! Me getting that bill so late I thought it to be odd so I went back and forth with my insurance and the doctors office who told me after about 4 phone calls that everything was paid. Rose then asked that I sit on the phone with the insurance company AGAIN while waiting in the waiting room with a 3 week old premature baby. I did so and the insurance company then told me that the office sent in the claim to late (hence the 11/2013 bill) and that they denied the claim and that the office would have to send in another claim. I asked the insurance company to call "Rose" which the did and explained the situation. She then called me to the counter no words spoken and said, "Sign this." Which was a promissory note stating I would pay the $85 if the insurance didn't go through. I felt very belittled by her and spoke with another doctor at my other daughters next visit about how I was treated who apologized and said she would let Dr. Fernandez know. I then had another incident with this same person giving me incorrect information over the phone! I'm no longer going to this practice with any of my 4 daughters. If you want to be belittled, looked at like you are some criminal and being judged by the office manager then go to this practice. Dr. Fernandez is a great and amazing doctor! She is a good doctor. My kids have been going to her for about a year now and they adore and love her. She is very friendly and talkative with my kids. She makes them feel relaxed and not scared when they go there.
