I’ve never actually met Dr. Fair so this is in regards to the man sitting at the front desk. I am not a patient, but I do go here from time to time to get prescriptions fixed in order to help their patients. I am not sure how he is still employed here as he is a huge reflection of the practice and he’s extremely rude every time I’ve been in there. Not only is he rude to me, but he is also always very aggressively shoving the two dogs that are always there with him. Under no circumstances should anybody treat anyone or animal in that manner. Called to set up a new patient appointment and was immediately shut down. The lady who answered the phone doesn't have much personality or concern.

New patient, recently moved to area. A couple visits into patient/dr visits. I showed her scars/tattoos from double mastectomy/breast cancer.... It wasn’t 2 minutes later she left the room and her assistant was by her side and came in with script to give me to get a mammogram!! Humiliated, I left!! Her spouse asked to schedule another appointment. I said I would have to call back to schedule. I never went back! Pitiful practice and care! Go elsewhere! New patient, recently moved to area. I really like Dawn Banke..she is the nurse practitioner. I see her all the time. She is sweet, kind, professional, attentive, and takes her time to listen to your issues. I've never felt rushed, or like I am just a number. I really like her!! I like that it is a family environment. The bad thing about the office is you can't actually SEE Dr. Fair. I tried on one occasion and had to wait two weeks. Once I DID see her, her personal nurse was super rude to me. I had had to cancel an appointment on rather short notice on one occasion, and she was rude to me then. ( The circumstances of the cancellation was beyond my control). As I sat in the room waiting for Dr. Fair, I could hear the nurse speaking badly about another patient outside the door. She was loud and very unprofessional. In the end, I went back to Dawn. I liked her better. Dr Fair was nice, but she joked a lot, and that just made me feel uncomfortable. All in all, I like the practice. I think I've been going there at least 6 years. After visual proof of double mastectomy she has her nurse bring in a RX for a mammogram... Never went back.

I've looked for a good local doctor for many years, and finally after a suggestion from a co-worker and fellow patient I found Dr. Fair! She and the whole staff has always been very welcoming and willing to listen and never had to wait but a couple minutes for a visit. After moving here from another county, numerous attempts over a 1 year time span to establish myself as a patient have failed. The only reason I kept trying was a friend said this Dr Fair was worth the effort. Each time I called I was told either records were currently being transferred from hard copy to a new computer system or the doctor was still not taking new patients and to call back in a couple months. During my last attempt, I asked if there was some other doctor the office might recommend since she STILL could not see me....nope, no other recommendation. So my review is neither negative nor positive but still thought I would let others know my experience with this doctor's office. Wonderful doctor and PA and staff! Love this practice.

I never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Unfortunately this office was to conservative to help me when I became physically and emotionally stressed due to an unfortunate emergency before the holidays.

I have been going to dr Fair for 15 years. She always spends the time I need. I have some special absorption needs she is very sensitive to and works hard to help me. She is very good about proper referrals for testing. I have never had issue with any kind of “pill mill” as someone said in a review. She and her office couldn’t be further from that. If you need medicine you will get what you need. If you are looking for a doctor to feed a habit go some where else. She is not that kind of doctor. I have been seeing Dr. Fair for over 20 years and would highly recommend her. The office staff are always kind and caring. I see her 80% of my appointments and see the PA for other appointments. She makes referrals to the appropriate specialists, takes time to listen to concerns and research options. I never have to wait and never feel rushed. I have been a patient of Dr Fairs "office" for about three years. Its very easy to get in and I have never waited longer than 10 mins, usually much less to be seen. I agree with other reviews here, Dr Fair has never once seen me,talked to me or even simply introduced herself. I find that to be inexplicable and very unprofessional. I myself have worked in health care for 25 years and have never seen behavior like that. That being said, the rest of the staff is very professional and pleasant. Kind, competent and caring staff. They actually take their time and listen. They are not looking to get as many people in and out as fast as they can like most HF Dr offices in feel like a human being not just a number. I absolutely love that I found a Dr. Like her. Great doctor and staff. They alway spend plenty of time with me, funny, and lever wait that long.

I've been a patient of Dr Fair's for over 10 years and she has always been kind, takes time to really listen to any concerns and doesn't rush through the appointment. It's rare to find a doctor in this county that cares enough to get to know you, find the best solutions for any health issues that pop up, and who is willing and able to think outside the box. The rest of the staff- nurses, reception- are friendly, helpful and will do everything they can to be sure you're taken care of whether it's scheduling an appt or getting back to you about a question or refill request. I've been to many different doctors in my lifetime, but when I went to Dr. Susan C. Fair's office it was a completely different experience. The staff was courteous, and genuine. Although, I didn't see Dr. Susan, I saw her Nurse Practitioner and she was very helpful. She was kind, and listened. She did not automatically assume I made things up and she took all the symptoms I shared into consideration. This is how we found out what was going on with me. 2+ years not knowing what was going on was fixed with one appointment! I was a patient with Dr. Fair years back and I stopped going, didn't like how she couldn't bother to stand up straight while talking to me or writing her notes and I was only 21 at the time so it shouldn't have bothered me that she slouched on the counter the entire time, but it did. Her laziness continued several years later when I went back and became her patient again after moving back in the area. For the eight long years I was her patient, I didn't see her a single time. I heard her through the door conferring with her nurse, but not even a single handshake. Walk-In clinic doctors are more attentive to their transient patients then Fair and that's where I was going most of the time instead of wrangling an appointment to see someone without a doctorate.
