I can't say enough good about Dr Bulen. I was in 4 hospitals with my stroke in 04 with no improvement until she took over my case in the 5th. Today (13 years later) people tell me they would never guess I had a stroke.

Very comforting and professional. Gives excellent information about condition. Spends time and answers all questions.

I have known Dr. Susan Bulen for over twenty years. She has taken care of many of my patients following auto accidents, joint surgery and replacements, and more in her work as Director of one of the Health South Rehab centers in Tucson. Sue came to my rescue in 1996 when I was care-giver for two family members approaching their life transition. When she asked how I was holding up, she saw right through my facade of saying "I am OK"… left and came back to the hospital with an armful of copies of the National Association of Family CareGivers Magazine for me. I cannot express how much help I received from the ideas shared by Dr. Bulen to help me take care of not only my loved ones, but myself too. Now, two decades later, I regularly see Dr. Bulen at our church on Sundays and I see how much she does to help others in so many, many ways. Dr. Bulen is the 'real deal' and she practices what she uses herself... and is always looking for more to offer her patients and colleagues. And that includes learning more ways to help her patients from her own experience of fracture/surgery now. I wish I could give her six stars for competence, compassion, professionalism, and Spirit.
