Dr. Bienert is always attentive and spends a lot of time during appointments. Thorough and follows up after appointments. She is proactive with preventative care and nutrition.

I like that she asks questions and gives thorough explanations. I can normally get an appointment within a day or two, sometimes the same day. There is typically an on-call doctor available when she is not, and her front office is a well oiled machine. I've never really cared much for doctors but I've been able to connect with Dr. B, have gone to her for years, and highly recommend her. She has also been my husband's doctor for the last few years.

Dr Bienert was not directly involved in my last hospitalization except to monitor me and help me after I was discharged. I was not in one of "her hospitals". But after discharge, I was very thankful for her help with post discharge medication issues prescribed by other providers. She went to bat (communicated) for me and got my medication straightened out with several other doctors. She helped me greatly with my recovery options and gave me good advice. I will always be thankful for her personal support during this time.

Dr. Bienert always takes the time to address any concerns I have in a knowledgeable, kind and caring way. She has a measured, conservative approach that suits me perfectly. Having her as my physician gives me great peace of mind.

Dr Bienert is a great caring Doctor. I would thoroughly recommend her.

Dr Bienert is honest and straight-forward while being patient and understanding. She is not a fan of medicines unless necessary and IS a fan of good diet and exercise - not processed foods!

She always listens and cares. She has been my doctor for a few years now and I couldn't ask for a better one. She sees me quickly and throughly. She loves tennis which I do as well so that's a bonus!????

Dr. Bienert is professional and caring! I don't know what I would do without her in my court when it comes to medical concerns. It is so nice to have a physician who knows me well! I highly recommend her!

The highest compliment I can think of is that, having recently moved away, I am considering coming 140 miles back to Alexandria from time to time to maintain Dr. Bienert as a primary care physician. She has been thoroughly competent and explains everything very clearly, without sugar-coating when I need to take action on my own ! She has made solid referrals to specialists when needed and follows up to make sure everything is going well. I have been a patient of Dr. Bienert for over 15 years. She cares about her patients and it shows in how attentive she is and how much time she allots for her appointments. For my last annual check-up, she and I spent at least 60 minutes together, going over my past year's health history, eating habits, exercise regime, etc. Oh, and whenever I have a need for a short-notice appointment, I can always get in either the same or next day. Susan Bienert had to be one of the most rudest and condescending medical professional I have ever encountered. She was abrasive and arrogant and I felt she wanted to start laughing at me when I was telling her what was going on with me. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

Dr. Beinert is a professional, thorough and caring doctor.

Appointments are easy to get, wait time is minimal, and communication with Dr Bienert is available via phone, in person or email - LOVE that!!!!! She is thorough and spends the appropriate amount of time with you.

They take your insurance but you have to pay a membership fee. For me I was told will be $900+ ...the phone call wasn't even welcoming, she was very robotic and obviously didn't get much of my attention besides the outrageous about of money I'd have to pay other then my copay... I'll definitely be looking elsewhere.

I appreciate Dr. Bienert’s collaborative approach to care. She makes time to listen to my concerns, and her response is relaxed but thorough as she addresses them. I trust her advice and feel free to be open with her. I feel fortunate to be her patient.

I read the only 1 star review and I undertand Nicoles comment about the price. Yes, it is expensive but what I have learned through a friends experience is that Susan is the hub for all medical information when dealing with an issue. She reviews, monitors & coordinates the array of doctor's reports & medications focused on the patient's quality of care. She also will coordinate those services when necessary. In our hectic world, the patient, often do not have the time or medical knowledge!!!!

Doctor Bienert demonstrates a knowledgable caring doctor who is motivated to keeping your health. She provides excellent care and directions to help manage health care and managing acute and chronic medical problems.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bienert for many years and have always found her to be professional and thorough. She takes the time to talk with you and understand what is going on in your life and how that affects your health. She always answers my questions and even calls me at home to follow up. I would definitely recommend her to others!

I went today for the first time as a new patient and saw Susan Bienert MD. She was amazing!! She took the time to tell me about new health practices to add to my daily routine.
