Excelllent. Straightforward and helps on know what you need to do to improve living

If you are willing to follow her lead she is great to help you get where you are wanting to go in your mental health

Very impersonal. They take your money that's all they care about and rush you out of the office. She offers no help or emotion. Waste of major money and time.

Dr. Backes is wonderful and has helped our family through some difficult times. She is warm, caring, and completely competent. I have never rated a doctor online before, but I think the 1 star rating is unfounded so I wanted to add my review! I have recommended her to friends and family as well.

initial appointment was promising because I felt comfortable and thought we could work together, but things didn't work out that way.

She has a very calm demeanor and puts you at ease. However she offers very little insight or substantive feedback. She is mainly there to prescribe one of a small handful of medications, and if it doesn't appear to work she offers a different one or suggests cognitive behavioral therapy. So basically she is guessing with regards to treatment and offers nothing that facilitates mental health aside from two or three forms of medication. A charlatan.
