If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not see this doctor. She dismissed me because her secretary did not fill my medication and I went without it for a weekend. Very unprofessional staff and doctor.

Don’t even bother trying to get an appointment with this provider. The office staff was very rude to me when I called & I had a referral from a physician who is nearby her office. They said they would have to discuss this with the doctor to see if she will see me or not & would call me back in a week. I receive a call a week later, stating the doctor doesn’t want to see me and I need to find someone closer to home & she thinks I need to see someone else for my “ADHD”. Well, my diagnosis was not ADHD & I was in need to see they psychiatrist for depression & anxiety; the receptionist said “oops I got you mixed up with another patient”. (Not professional at all.). My primary physician treating me currently just wanted me to have a second opinion with a psychiatrist to make sure she didn’t miss anything & that I was on the correct medication because I am still having issues. Also, the only reason I was searching for a psychiatrist in Anderson; is because I have two small children & I have a babysitter there. Not to mention the majority of my doctors are in Anderson, so why would I need to find somewhere closer to home if that is the town I am wanting to go to? I have never been treated like that before & if that is how Dr. Anderson is & how her office is ran, I wouldn’t want to give her my business anyways. Also, maybe you shouldn’t turn down patients who will pay you. My insurance is Anthem and is in-network & would cover 100%. I pray I can find a psychiatrist who is caring & will help me get on the correct medication; like I said I have two small kids & I even told them that I am just trying to get myself healthy mentally not only for myself but for mainly my children & still was turned down. ????????‍♀️ Don’t even bother trying to get an appointment with this provider. Was thinking very highly until I actually spoke to someone in the office. At a very difficult and frightening time, they were rude, offerred no assistance, and told me everything I needed to hear, to make the choice to NOT want to place care in their hands. They did not accept my ins., I was willing to pay out of pocket. I was told they don't take out of pocket pmt (never heard that in my life, a dr not take your money) or my insurance. I've been seeing Dr.Anderson for years I find her to be interested and caring listens well! I like her very much!

Dr. Susan has always be easy to talk to and listens well. She cares about how you are feeling and what you are thinking. I appreciate her honesty and straight-forward discussions with me.
