Dr. Surjit Reddy Moolamalla

I really appreciate Dr. Reddy and the treatment I've received here. The 1 star is in regards to the experience I had yesterday with the front staff who implied that if I didn't pay a "bill" for a surgery I haven't even had yet, that I wouldn't be treated. An older lady, who was training someone new, told me I had a bill from my last visit. I said I just got it and planned on paying Thursday when I got paid. She didn't like that answer but seemed to accept it after I pushed a little. Then she calls me back up saying I had a surgeon fee (for an upcoming procedure). I said I was aware if the cost but it needed to go through insurance. I paid Mt.View the $4000 facility fee to cover my full out of pocket cost and that everything needed to go through insurance because of that (i.e. at that point 100% would be covered by my insurance). She kept saying "it says you agreed to pay the fee in the notes with the scheduler." I said yes, because I was getting estimates. I repeatedly asked if this $500 had gone through insurance and she refused to answer and kept saying you agreed to pay in the notes. She then started telling me "you have to pay this before your procedure, you agreed to pay" repeatedly, which to me implies "if you don't pay, you won't have your (medically necessary) procedure." I got really upset because this is a procedure I need to remove a fibroid which is causing issues. So I paid. After I left I realized that this woman made me pay based on something written in someone's notes, for a procedure I havent even had yet. Not a bill, a note. My husband was really upset and called billing. The $500 is a credit on my account. It literally went to nothing owed. Nothing. I called the office manager twice and have not received a call back.

My first time ever visiting Dr. Reddy he is amazing very thorough! He actually listens to you not just another patient. Love it

Great doctor if you are pregnant. As someone with endometriosis, I felt like a second priority. If I wasn't trying to get pregnant, then it seemed like my care wasn't very important. The staff isn't very friendly, except for maybe one person. Everything ended up being about money, which I wasn't even advised would cost as much as it did. And after asking them for a referral to give insurance, they sent my bill to collections anyway. The last three plus years of treatment with this clinic has been a total fog, and I feel like I'm barely getting clarity again. Won't be going back, and wouldn't recommend for complicated issues like Endo, PCOS, or adeno, etc.

He was very thorough and explained step by step what he was doing. No surprises! Which is especially reassuring when you're dealing with that part of your body.

Dr. Reddy is excellent, he clearly puts his patients first. I know many other patients of his with various needs and each receive very individualized care. He knows his patients and works to make us comfortable and healthy.

Professional office staff. Short wait time. Dr. Reddy explained options thoroughly and I left feeling confident about what decisions have to be made regarding my future medical care.

Dr. Reddy is a phenomenal doctor! He is patient, kind, and gentle with excellent bed side manners. He followed me through my final weeks of pregnancy and delivery with my first son. I am grateful to be seeing him through my second pregnancy.

Terrible even with my medical history and being a HIGH RISK PREGNANCY they weren't able to see me and give me the proper care I need! I wouldn't recommend for any high risk patients.

My visits have been awesome. Dr. Reddy and his staff have all been so nice and helpful! My surgery went well and the aftercare that Dr Reddy gave was excellent!

Best Gyn around here. Dr Reddy moolamalla is amazing and excellent. Staff is wonderful. He truly does have your best interest at heart. He performed a difficult surgery and with no issues and complications, ( 2 other drs at other Obgyn offce told me they do not do this surgery here). Heard lots of good things about Dr Reddy from my PCP and I travelled from silver city to see the doctor and its worth it. !! He is great and humble . He explained everything in detail. Dr. Reddy is very nice, informative and very knowledgeable in his expertise of gynecological procedures and surgery. His staff is amazing, very friendly and take care of everything. Dr. Reddy performed a surgery on me in February 2021. My original pre-op with him was cancelled. I had to reschedule for a few weeks later. I showed up to my re-scheduled pre-op. He was not there. The nurse said he had an emergency. He operated on me (at least he showed up for that). He said he wouldn't be available for a post-op. One year later, I call because I need to make an appointment for my annual visit. I am assigned to see Dr. Reddy. I receive a text message the day before my appointment letting me know that my appointment has been cancelled. I reschedule my annual visit for today. My appointment was at 9:30. I arrived at 9:20. At 9:50, I was informed that Dr. Reddy had an emergency and I would have to reschedule. I said "no," drove home, and now I am writing this. To clarify: I have scheduled five appointments with him. He has shown up exactly once. I understand that emergencies happen, but they are his norm, not the exception. It is irresponsible for him to continue to schedule patients and cancel with them, even after they've shown up the day of. I've never felt like less of a priority with any medical provider than I have with Dr. Reddy. Dr.Reddy-Moolamalla is amazing! Incredible doctor! I had a partial hysterectomy and was told by numerous doctors(including women) that it was impossible for something to be wrong. I felt like I was literally dying after the surgery. I came to Dr. Reddy, not only did he listen but took action and ordered bloodwork. He was the most informative doctor I have ever met. I have been with the same OBGYN for 13 years until she retired. I was kind of skeptical about a man in my hoo haa due to my past..but my personal experience with Dr Reddy was the best experience ever. He has changed my life for the best and my mental perspective on a male OBGYN has changed my whole life! This man is very dedicated to his job. By far the most patient, understanding, gentle and caring doctor I've ever had! His vast knowledge and compassionate demeanor make me feel at ease everytime I go to see him. He delivered my last baby and I wish I had known about Dr Reddy when I had my other two kids. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr Reddy; you're the best!

Dr. Reddy is an amazing Doctor. He’s thorough and takes his time during the visits, which is nice to not be rushed out. There are two things I don’t like. There’s no one on call during the weekends. If there’s a concern on weekends, you have to go to the ER or wait until you can be seen during the week. Also, OBGYN consultants are the folks who have been doing my ultrasounds and they always run behind. Last week they made me wait for an hour. According to the sonographer/nurse, her scheduled was screwed up by front office. It’s a bit frustrating to have to wait that long when there was an appointment scheduled. Anyway, my time is just as valuable as theirs and I believe in appointments and scheduling systems when they’re followed. If I was the one running late, I’d be penalized somehow. Other than that, I have full confidence in Dr. Reddy. Dr. Reddy is an amazing Doctor. He’s thorough and takes his time during the visits, which is nice to not be rushed out. Dr. Reddy is very knowledgeable, highly skilled, respectful, compassionate, kind and consults with other doctors in your care team when needed.

I absolutely love this office. The staff is so efficient, friendly and well-organized. And Dr. Reddy is amazing. He's smart and really good at explaining things and answering my questions. He never makes me feel rushed.
