Sunit Mukherjee

I've been seeing Dr Mukherjee since I can remember for my heart. His reputation precedes him. I had a bad heart attack 5 years ago and he saved my life. I saw him years ago when he was at St Elizabeth's in Boston, now he heads up the cardiac care Department. I will highly recommend him to everyone.

We love Dr Mukurjee, he is wonderful. However, now that he has moved to a new location I have a terrible time with communicating with his staff. You can never get a human being to answer the phones, and they never return phone calls.

Dr. Mukherjee is the best so happy to have him as my Cardiologist, I can give him 10+ simply the best.

I have had Dr. Mukherjee as my cardiologist for the past 12 years. I have had multiple heart attacks and have 8 stents. I would not let anyone but him be my doctor. I travel to Maine a lot and I told my husband that if anything ever happens only take me to Lawrence General so i can have him. This doctor is as skilled in stent placement as there is in New England. Caring and dedicated to his patients. An outstanding person and highly respected by his patients and peers

Dr Mukherjee has been my Cardiologist for more than 10 years. He is a great doctor and has a great knowledge of medicine for treatments for all patients.

This guy saved my life after another dr doing a catheterization lost the stint in my heart it took 5 hrs to stabilize me.the other dr was named shaw not sure if the spelling is right hes the one that lost the stint in floated into my left main artery.

Not happy with the staff. Called to insist i play 20$ before i can have an appointment. Office policy they said. The also lost records and test results and everytime i requested them i got the run around.. the dr himself seems genuine and thorough when he is involved but when dealing with the heart, life or death they should be more professional. Great staff and even better doctor. He is calm, patient and spends time listening to his patients’ concerns.

DR. MUHKERGEE TREATED MY HEART CONDITION IN A MANNER THAT MADE ME FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE AND CONFIDENT IN HIS WORK. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PATIENT ORIENTED. TAKES THE TIMES TO EXPLAIN PROCEDURES AND RECOMMENDATIONS.

I had the best experience i have ever had with a Dr in all of my life. It started as what i thought was heartburn around noon time and got worse. By 6:30 pm i knew it was bad. I went to LGH where i almost immediately went into cardiac arrest. I was scared and knew i was dying. They brought me to the cath lab where Dr Mukherjee was waiting with his phenomenal staff. Ive never had any invasive med procedures in my life and at 44 years old I was nervouse. The Dr told me that he had to do this procedure to save my life so I put it in his and his staffs hands as well as gods hands. Not only did he save my life but I didnt feel any discomfort at all. His nurse Danielle Garcia I believe her name was was also amazing. It was like she could read my mind as far as comfort went.i was feeling warm and all of a sudden a cool cloth was on my forehead. I would recommend this amazing team to anyone who meeds a cardiologist. Dr Mukherjee has my trust 100% I had the best experience i have ever had with a Dr in all of my life. My Oncologist called him in front of me about a very important issue , they took the message and gave it to him but he never called back even after 3 weeks and myself calling the office 3 times in 2 weeks , What kind of Doctor doesn’t have enough respect for another physician that he doesn’t call him back? Or for that matter the compassionate for his Cardiac patient? Look elsewhere if you want a caring Doctor who has his patients interest first . So disappointed, Got another Cardiologist!

I have the utmost confidence in Dr. M. He is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and caring. He treated my mother to age 93 with extreme dignity. His office staff is very helpful.
