Want useless? You’ve found it. He doesn’t help at all he’s just a med monkey. He doesn’t do well with adults at all he constantly treated me like a child. He’s extremely rude and also very foreign, he is from India and acts as such. He tries to sell you his coffee and other stuff he grew on his farm. He’s also fairly abusive and toxic. I’ve had to get a new doctor just to recover from the damage he did. He caused my self esteem to drop and caused me to fall into a deep depression. He called me worthless and kept saying horrible ableist things. Do not go here. He is also extremely out of touch with American culture. I’d tell him how I spend my free time and he would act shocked speaking poorly of America and constantly talking about the superiority of India. I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews mentioning this. My guess is people don’t want to expose reality. Please if you are considering to see him do not. I have been calling and leaving messages in several locations for over 3 months trying to get an appointment. Good thing I'm not suicidal, not yet anyway.

doctor saxena listens to your problems and is informative. he doesn’t push medication.

Dr. Suxina is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He listens thoroughly and tries to understand. He is always friendly and nonjudgmental. His office staff is friendly and welcoming. He does ask for a small deposit before u come in for ur first appointment and that is only because people experiencing mental health issues tend to be very anxious about appointments, myself included, and tend to not show up. If he makes an appointment for u and fills that time slot and u do not show up he is now losing money and that would not be fair at all. When u r a patient for awhile, as I am, the copays or money thing is not a big deal at all. I wouldn’t let the deposit stop you from using this doctor. He is really good at what he does. I really can't tell you how shocked I am by the experience I just had. It's incredibly vulnerable to tell a stranger about your mental health history and I cannot believe how little empathy Dr. Saxena had during this process. He cut me off again and again while I was trying to tell him about my history. He would ask me a question, I'd get a less than a sentence into an answer and he'd cut me off again. It showed that he wasn't listening because he kept referring back to my past with blatant errors which I had to repeatedly correct. He spent 90% of the appointment talking about himself and his own ventures. I told him I was hospitalized for anorexia and when he asked me how much I weighed he responded by saying, "Really? I can't believe you weigh so much." It was horribly unprofessional and jarring. The worst part is, I am very ready to finally receive this kind of medical help but I cannot, in good conscious, accept it from him.

Easy to schedule with and always pleasant to talk to. I’ve found that he spends a reasonable amount of time with me and addresses my concerns. I think he’s been a good Dr. for me because I prefer a degree of self guidance in my care, he may not be the right fit for people who need more direction and attention. Always non-judgemental too- I’m sort of a flake as a patient and he’s never once said anything negative to me about missed appointments etc.

Dr. Saxena is knowledge but spends most of the time talking about himself. He is smart if you want to be treated with Ayurveda instead. He is never on time and over books consistently.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I went to see Dr. Saxena for anxiety, depression and ADD symptoms. He shamed me for another health issue. I tried to redirect my needs and he continued to shame me. I left in tears. What kind of psychiatrist would shame a patient in the first appointment? HORRIBLE!!!

Beware! Beware! Beware! This smells like a total scam. They want you to give a deposit by credit card for your appointment over the phone. They will not let you come in and do it. If I can find out where else to review this I will.

Dr Saxena is great. He's very straightforward and helpful. If you're looking for an hour long conversation to talk about your problems, find a psychologist/therapist instead.

Dr. Saxena overbooks patients to the point where people are standing and sitting on the floor in his waiting room. He will provide you with a prescription with less than 20 minutes of diagnosis in which he asks you to present your ailments and responds with one of the drugs offered by the large number of pharmaceutical companies which pay him to sell their products. Check openpaymentsdata dot cms dot gov, a government run website, to verify for yourself. This is a doctor I'd send my enemies to.
