My experience at GCSA was great from intake to discharge. It was efficient, yet everyone was personable. Dr. Dwidedi was very thorough in explaining what he would be looking for during the procedure. Post procedure, I was even lucid enough to understand when he explained the results! A great experience all around!

I just moved to SA and was needing a colonoscopy. Dr. Dwivedi was referred to me. The appointment was timely and easy to obtain. Once there, i was promptly checked in. The staff was some of the best I have experienced. The procedure went as expected and all staff, nurses and the doc was completely interested in my comfort and safety. I would highly recommend.

Everything was good. Only problem was that I had to wait too long for the doctor to take 5 seconds to review results.

I was very pleased with my visit with Dr. Dwivedi. the wait time was short which was very short. The paper work was a little long was the only bad thing.

Dr. Dwivedi has been a huge asset to my health. He and his staff were able to help me figure out my issues in a timely manner; honestly, he probably saved my life. After various doctors being unable to pinpoint what was happening he was able to figure it out and begin treatment before I ever met him or went into his office. His staff is amazing, going above and beyond to keep in touch, explain, all while being respectful and kind. I definitely hit the jackpot on this referral and I highly recommend him.

My experience for this procedure was uneventful. From the receptionist to the "procedure" and on to the discharge procedure, I felt informed, safe and confident this 'team knew how to get it done!"

His compassion shows, & I don't feel herded as I do with other doctors. His willingness to exhaust less invasive procedures to solve my problems is what grows my confidence in him.

My appointment was the last on his schedule. I had never met him (my long term doctor just retired) and had braced myself for a perfunctory visit. I was very pleased by his high level of concentration and attention to what I said. I left with a very good impression of him.

Dr Dwivedi is top-notch! He has been my provider for two colonoscopy procedures in the past ten years. Would highly recommend him. I underwent the recent procedure without anesthesia, so was able to watch it on the screen and ask questions, which Dr Dwivedi was happy to answer.

I initially had the assumption that a gastroenterologist would perform a colonoscopy and/or endoscopy on me and then refer all results back to my PCP for follow up but this was not the case with Dr. Dwivedi. Even though my gastro procedures did not reveal any obvious problems, one of my lab results did. Dr. Dwivedi followed up with me directly over the following year through office visits and lab work until he was satisfied that there were no lingering internal issues to be concerned with. I had an urgent need for 2 procedures...referred to Dr. Dr Dwivedi by a medical provider in San Antonio. I was seen the next day a few minutes after I arrived. Dr. Dwivedi was the best combination of professionalism and personal approach I have seen during my new residence in SA. Polite, personable, knowledgeable...just the BEST! The staff is kind and the facility looks clean. If I’m totally honest, it is always difficult getting someone who is able to get my vein on the first stick, so that is unfortunate. That being said, my veins are the real problem because they are so tiny and are runners ???? As for my doctor, Dr. Dwivedi, he is absolutely second to none! He is genuinely one of the most kindest and competent Gastroenterologist I have ever encountered! During my recently scheduled Colonoscopy procedure, the whole process was rather seamless. Right from entering the Gastroenterology facility to the point of exit. Throughout the process all the medical staff and doctors were very respectful and kept you well informed. Dr. Dwivedi, in particular explained the process before embarking and then took the time to explain the outcome clearly. He answered all my questions and in fact persuaded me from not pursuing an Endoscopy procedure which I was considering. Dr. Dwivedi and his entire staff was first class during my recent procedure.

I wouldn't think I'd be writing about a positive experience with a medical procedure, but Dr. Dwivedi and his staff were amazing. The customer service was great, starting from the initial scheduling, pre-appointment work, check-in, nurses, Anesthesiologist assistants, Anesthesiologist, Doctor's assistant, post-treatment, office staff, follow-up, etc... They all worked together as a team and everyone cared for and treated me as a person, not just a patient. I probably talked to about 10 different staff members and everyone was very pleasant, friendly, and seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was even surprised as they requested feedback after my appointment to make sure I was pleased with my overall experience and ask if there's anything they could've done better. Outstanding visit.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Dr. Diwivedi was awesome and truly cared for me as a patient.

New patient visit went very well. Support staff was professional and friendly. Dr. Dwivedi answered all of my questions and explained the plan of treatment for my care. He was engaging and took his time during the exam and assessment.

My first time with tele visit , Dr Dwivedi was prompt , very helpful, listen to my concerns and was be able to respond accordingly. It was as if I was in the office. I always have good experience with this office and very appreciative of Dr Dwivedi. My husband and I are both patient of him. I have no problem to refer anyone to him.

Negative experience.

I sought out Dr. Dwivedi's help because I've been suffering for 2 years from near daily intense stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhea, burping my food back up 30 seconds after swallowing, lack of appetite, and bloating. My symptoms have been aggravated so much so that I've gone to the ER twice after 6+ hours of vomiting, diarrhea, pain, and eventual deliriousness. I was very excited to see Dr. Dwivedi and finally get some help for these issues that severely impact my quality of life. After an endoscopy, I waited a month and a half (an absurd amount of time) to get my results from Dr. Dwivedi, at which point he prescribed me probiotics and told me I'm probably constipated... CONSTIPATED?! By this diagnosis I feel a lot of my symptoms were overlooked. I put in two requests (which Dr. Dwivedi must approve first) to see a different doctor who recently started treating my grandmother with great success. Dr. Dwivedi has not approved my request to see a different doctor to get a second opinion, nor has the treatment he prescribed worked. I type this review while in horrible pain and feeling helpless because I'm being blocked from access to a different doctor. I hope the powers that be at Gastro Con see this review and feel moved enough to help me.
