Dr. Sultan Aleem Chowdhary

As long as you don’t have a job or a life and don’t mind waiting nearly 2 hours after your appointment time then this is the place for you. We don’t even know how good of. Dr he is or isn’t because all we have done is wait to be seen. Why set an appointment time if you have no intention of keeping it? It’s rude and unprofessional and based on his other reviews, this is just how he treats his patients. Our time is just as important as his and he should learn that.

Awesome doctor, listens and is very smart

I had to wait a while before being seen but it was worth it. Dr. Chowdhary is the best doctor because he takes his time with his patients and goes in depth with the diagnosis and cares to hear everything about his patients and their past medical history and explains everything to the fullest. I would highly recommend.

Waited for close to an hour after tell staff my wife had just had surgery and could not sit for more than 30 min at a time. They kept saying any time now. We just left we were a mile away and they called and asked us to come back. We did. Then had a telemed call set up they were an hour late called to say any min and then never called. I called next day said they would call that day. Never did. We found a real dr now! My appointment was at 11:15 its now 1:15 and I'm still sitting waiting to go in for my appointment. I'm only here to find out about blood work my second time here a lady told me she was here for 5 hours last week. Good to know now I will be looking for someone thats more professional. Do you realize that some of his patients may be in last stages of cancer? Clearly some of you have not had a problem with figuring out what the problem is with your blood. This man worked tirelessly to find out what the problem was. Then he can create the treatment. I found him to be an amazing doctor. I understand what you’re saying about having to wait, but until you’re that patient that he sits with for two hours on your first visit talking to you about what’s going on with the test that you’ve had run and what he’s gonna have to do next, assuring you that he will do everything possible for you to help you get well. So I look at it this way when I have to wait a little while longer I know it’s because there’s another patient back there that needs the extra care that he gives his patients. I love the fact that my Dr. Chowdhury sat and talked with me that first visit and help me understand what was going on and what we were going to have to get me through this. He was extremely thorough and tested me for everything. We came up with some new diagnoses and got everything back on track. Great listener.

He is very knowledgeable in his expertise, but he always comes in late. My appointment would be at 8 and I would be the first one, and he always comes in at 9. No doctor should let their patients wait an hour or more before he sees them. If you know the time you're gonna see your patients, then you should open your clinic at that time, instead of letting them wait. Excellent, and his Assistant Amin is also very attentive and responsive

Waiting time very long. His receptionist is friendly, and courteous, however his nurse seems lazy and does not know her job. She may be good at helping give injuections, but when it comes to helping patients with finding help for insurance claims, and getting financial help, she doesn't do the job. She NEVER returns calls, you have to call her all the time and still may not get a answer. I'm thinking of switching DR's because of her.

Dr Sultan knows what he is doing. I been following with him for 2 weeks now for my ITP & I feel so comfortable with him. He gives you many treatment options & makes sure your overall health is well. His Medical Assistant does not respond to Pharmacy requests for refills, and does not respond to requests from other Medical care providers.

A smart, caring doctor but wait times are excessive. Explains and listens well. Billing office makes mistakes and no details in billing statement. Likely to recommend is 3.5 stars but can't select that.

I see him at his McKinney office. Could not have asked for a better dr. Dr. Chowdhary helped save my life. Didn’t waste anytime with my diagnosis and immediately started treating me. He is a god send. Waiting room time maybe a little long for some but I don’t even care. He’s worth waiting. The office staff in McKinney is pretty awesome too.
