Extremely disappointed with the BA I received with Dr. Kim. My 1st consultation, I wasn’t sure if I needed a lift or just augmentation. Dr. Kim assured me that an BA would be all that is required & lift would cause more scars. I was told there were only 2 types of implants. Silicone and Saline. Advised me to send wish pics via email b/c i did not know i was suppose to bring any. All wish pics i sent said"high profile" my device card said "SRM". I was unaware of different styles of implants until AFTER surgery when I received my device card. My breasts look nothing like wish pics. Initial consultation papers say"... Pt complains of loss of volume in her breast after having 2 children."I HAVE NEVER HAD CHILDREN. Also says i have scoliosis, I've NEVER been diagnosed. Me: "Did you record the surgery like the ones I see on Instagram?" Dr: "Yours were not special" I'm highly disappointed & think it all could've been avoided with proper communication, education, & better bedside manner

After much research I decided on Dr. Kim for my surgery. The recovery went very smooth with minimal discomfort. The results are amazing and the only regret is not having this done years ago. Great doctor and staff.

The SGK experience is one of a kind !! Everyone who works at SGK is just amazing. Dr Kim is even more amazing. I went in for a consult & was just wow’d immediately that I booked my surgery right after the consultation. I didn’t need to look no further. On surgery day, nurse Daisy and the anesthesiologist did a Fabulous job at comforting me since it was my first time going under. Nurse Daisy even held my hand as silly as it may sound because I was that nervous. After surgery , Dr Kim & her staff were available no matter the questions I had - even after hours. First of all, there is no other office with the same ambiance and attention to detail as Dr Kim has put into SGK. After less than 4 months the surgery is imperceivable and the results are better than I had hoped (i.e. I look several years younger). What can I say about Dr. Kim and her staff that hasn’t been said? I searched for YEARS to find the perfect surgeon for me. I lost over 150 pounds in 2009 and was carrying around excess skin that made me feel like less of a woman. Every surgeon I saw just told me what I needed instead of giving me options.. but when I saw Dr. Kim, she actually took the time to ASK me what I want and where I feel my problem areas are. She gave me everything I asked for without telling me that I needed to do it another time and she took the time to explain everything to me in detail. Her staff is absolutely amazing and I got almost 4 pounds of excess skin off my stomach and about 10 pounds of fat in different areas liposuctioned. I now have actual breasts and a stomach instead of deflated skin. I can’t thank Dr. Kim and her staff enough for bringing my dream to life. SGK was recommended by a friend, when I was considering Botox for the first time, and I'm very thankful to have contacted them. Dr Kim is excellent as a Dr & surgeon! She is thorough, precise and does a great job!

I didn't need scar revision surgeries until Dr. Kim. I didn't need breast reconstructive surgeries until Dr. Kim. I didn't have one visible scar on either one of my breasts until Dr. Kim botched my breast implant exchange surgery and scarred and mangled my breasts. She LIED in my medical records and made up medical conditions she said I had to have excuses why I ended up this way. She said I had a condition called "Symmastia". (Symmastia is when the breast pockets cross the midline and meet in the middle, lifting the skin off of the sternum.) She NEVER mentioned Symmastia to me. She said in my medical records that she was "Going to try and correct my Symmastia" and that she went into "GREAT DETAIL" with me about the challenges of Symmastia surgery. The first time I ever heard of the word Symmastia was when I read what she wrote in my medical records AFTER she botched my surgery. 1.) Why did she not take pictures of my Symmastia condition? 2.) Not probable she would charge me nothing, zero to perform this complicated & risky surgery. 3.) I did not consent to her performing Symmastia surgery on me and I never signed a consent form for it. There was no Symmastia. She just made it up. If Dr. Kim had told me I had such a serious condition, I would have gotten a 2nd opinion from another doctor. She mentioned several times in my medical records that I "complained about pain and firmness in my right breast". I NEVER complained about pain or firmness in my right breast. The reason I went to Dr. Kim was that my LEFT breast saline implant was leaking. In the medical records she claimed I had "Grade IV capsular contracture". Grade IV capsular contracture is defined as "The breast is hard, painful and looks abnormal". Once again, she lied about a condition I had as another excuse she could use to justify her botching the surgery. There are more things she added or altered in my medical records AFTER she botched my surgery but are too many to list in this review. If Dr. Kim did nothing wrong, then why would she need to lie and make things up? As a result of her lying in my medical records, she denied me the opportunity of getting a true assessment from another doctor of how and why this happened to me. Any doctor reading my medical records from Dr. Kim would just be giving their opinion based on her lies. On my 1st follow-up visit after my surgery, I told Dr. Kim I was concerned about the horrible, deep and bloody wound she caused on my upper right breast. She just ignored my concern and walked out of the room. She avoided me after that and let her nurses handle all my follow up visits. Dr. Kim has her surgery room right in her office. My surgery was scheduled for 3:30 to 5:00 PM. I had to sign a document that if my ride was not there by 5:00 to pick me up, I would be charged $500.00. I have always thought that the reason she botched my surgery was because she was rushed, sloppy and careless. I now know she is obviously unskilled. I arrived for my appointment at 1:30 and sat in the reception area until right around 3:30. Then they took me in the back to get prepped for surgery. What I recall was that everyone was rushed. Dr. Kim stuck her head in the door for about 10 seconds while I was getting prepped for surgery. She looked at me, did not say anything and then shut the door. That is the only time I remember seeing Dr. Kim that day. Dr. Kim has RUINED my life in so many ways. The mental pain along with the physical embarrassment & shame she has caused me is something I deal with everyday. She has also cost me thousands of dollars. I had to pay Dr. Kim thousands of dollars for her botched surgery. I had to pay thousands of dollars to another doctor to have the implants removed... the ones she had just put in just a few months earlier. It will now cost me thousands of dollars to have scar revision and breast reconstructive surgeries...which I can't afford. She destroyed the body part she was supposed to enhance then lies to cover up botching the surgery. It's unthinkable, but true. I didn't need scar revision surgeries until Dr. Kim. Today was my first time getting lip fillers and Rachel did absolutely AMAZING. I’ve already recommended her to multiple friends. She walked me through every step, from choosing the right filler for my lips all the way to aftercare. She talked to me as if we’d been best friends and I absolutely love that because it made me feel super comfortable and put my nerves at ease. I highly recommend Rachel for her amazing injection skills with Botox and many other products. I was nervous before having my injections & she took the time to explain every step and my procedures were virtually painless with a beautiful outcome!

Today was my 4th visit with Rachel, doing Botox, and every time she has been wonderful. She is very skilled and knowledgeable, and is always eager to answer my many questions regarding Botox and other procedures I am interested in. I can’t say enough about Dr. Kim and her amazing staff. Dr. Kim is so kind and takes her time explaining procedures and answering your questions and really seems to care for her patients. Very poor experience. I had a consultation with a surgeon at this practice and when I phoned to book the procedure I was informed he had left. I was never contacted or informed about this until I phoned. I proceeded to book another consult for the same procedure and after being told to arrived 10 minutes early I was left waiting 45 minutes to then be led into a consult room and told they still weren't ready for me. I understand things happen but it seems very unprofessional, whilst I was waiting Chick-fil-A was delivered and I feel they could have either rescheduled my appointment for another time or if they truly had been running late all morning they could have phoned. I am really disappointed as I had to wait a long time for a consult which didn't even happen. Very poor experience.
