Horrible experience here. I was with this office for 6 years. I was 1 pill over when called in for a pill count and was penalized for 3 months by cutting my prescription in half. Needless to say I switched doctors. And the nurses are so disrespectful and have no bedside manners.

This guy is a straight-up crook. I told him what my problem was, and he proceeded to run a bunch of unrelated tests. I eventually realized he was just trying to make as much money off me as he possibly could. Several people that worked there acted like they wouldn’t have agreed with his decisions if they were allowed to say so. Now I have ridiculous bills that I have to pay. I learned my lesson.

This place is horrible, you never sees the Dr, if you need to change your appointment, its $50.00 , if you miss your phone call, its $50.00. You never sees the Dr. because he's trying to run his heart center. Dr. Agrawal is all about money and his patients are paying a price, because you never sees him at the pain management. If anyone that's not satisfied you can call or do an online complaint to the Georgia Medical Board and make an complaint. I have made one and I'm letting other people know that you got that right to do this if you're having any issues with this facility. Don't go here unless you absolutely have to. The doctor is a great friendly and knowledgeable person. However the office it's self is a disaster. I have great insurance, and have always just paid a co pay, but for some odd reason they made me pay up front, I asked about it and the lady at the desk told me it was some new procedure they do. After some calling around, I talked to a guy in billing, and had to actually tell him to submit it to my insurance, so he finally did, it went to my claims, and as expected all I owed was my co pay, so I waited for the reimbursement of the amount I paid. What I got in the mail, was another bill. So I called the billing department again, asked them about the bill, and the reimbursement. You have to submit a request just to get your money back, that you shouldn't have paid in the first place. So if your ok paying hundreds up front, and getting medical bills up to the eyes, this is the right place for you. Don't go here unless you absolutely have to. To everyone at Athens Heart Center, I like to say thank you for taking such good care of me, Dr Agrawal you're the best of the best, I tell everyone I meet what a dam good Dr you are, and if they ever need a heart Dr that you can trust, I would put you at the top of there list of doctors, cause you have been the best cardiac doctor I've ever been to. If you are looking for a pain management doctor that cares about his patients and does not run a pill mill, DO NOT GO HERE. My 74 year old terminal mother has been seeing him for 2 years and it is AWFUL. They give you an appointment date with no time, not even a 2 hour window, and if you miss the call you are charged $50. He did not call her last week on her appointment day (Wednesday), causing her to run out of medication. I called the office 4 times leaving messages for the office manager to call us back. We NEVER received a return call. Her uranalysis was scheduled for Monday. After having somebody watch her sit on the toilet for 20 minutes in their nasty urine filled bathroom, she was finally able to produce the sample. She has had to have somebody watch her sit on a toilet for up to 2 hours before to produce the sample. She is on oxygen, diagnosed with a terminal disease, and has problems using the restroom at home, much less with somebody watching her. I could go on.

After putting you through a slew of test Dr Agrawal doesn’t explain the results of any of them. After being at his office for 6 hours- 6 he walked into the room told the nurse to give info about a diet and went to walk out never even speaking to me. When I said “wait a minute what about all the test he said “oh test fine.. they’re all fine. I ask him what did he think was the issue as far as my chest pain and he replied ( and these are his exact words) Dr. A: why are you depressed?” Me: who said anything about being depressed? I’m not. Dr. A. Well in high school you probably skinny, & beautiful right? Well what happened why you get depressed and gain weight? “You lose job? don’t have enough money or something like that? Me: I make enough money and I’m not depressed. I’m just making sure my heart is ok since I’ve been having chest pains and shortness of breath. Dr. A. Oh heart looks fine. Do diet you get better in two or 3 years. Come back if you feel like it.

Employees are stressed and promise's are not kept for the staffing. The stress and hardship of employees is reflecting toward the patients. "Ripple's of Rudeness"

This review isn't so much about a recent visit, but about a phone call I received last evening offering me concierge-level service from this provider for a premium. Frankly, I was offended to find out that my doctor would not spend adequate time with me or be accessible unless I shell out extra fees. I will be looking for a new provider ASAP...one that values me as a customer whether I can afford it or not.

Asked to order prescription medicine never did. Even when I was to take 2 pills per day. I asked my medicine provider to FAX the information to the Doctor, which they did. The provider did not get a response. Went to my family Doctor asked him. returned home in 15 minutes and there was a e-mail, we received your order and we are processing it. Did an EKG but did not give me results. Took a blood sample, never heard results.

He treated my husband and diagnosed him when no one else could. Dr Agrawahl kept him alive with a high quality of life for 2 extra years.

Did not have a good experience as an employee here.

My dad went to see him as a first time patient and after waiting in the waiting room for 3 hours he saw this man who walked into the exam room did not say but less than 4 words not even looking at the patient and walked out. he was very rude and did not introduce himself. For some reason Dr. Agrawal you seem to think you are better than anyone else. I would not suggest him to my worst enemy and he is not that important to wait 3 hrs for. You are the most unprofessional Dr.

Very rude and unprofessional did not explain my test results to me just walked into room said give her so and so and he walked out of room. I suggest he find a new career cause being a Dr. is not his thing. I will never ever return to his office, he has so many positions for example Pain clinic, Cardiology, Internal medicine, sleep studies. He can not possible be good at any of them. I would not go to this Dr. he is the worst Dr. I have ever been to

Ran tons of tests , found nothing, Madrid tons of money off me & my insurance, put me on several severe Rx’s then I had to argue with him to be taken off RXs that were causing health conditions it took me at least 6 months to make go away after stopping those medications.

X,most kind and caring doctor I've had! He listens and doesn't make you inferior...he always has a smile and of and word between God and him I made it thru a severe heart attack!! No other cardiac doctor for me...God bless

Dr. Agrawal is one of the worst MDs I have ever met. He is more concerned about making unnecessary appointments and making money then the overall well being of the patient. I would never recommend him to anyone.

Annette and Dr. Agrawal were most competent and flexible. (Did not receive my new patient packet, she allowed me to complete it while waiting to hear back from the Dr.) This feels like a reputable practice, (vs. very bad experiences I have had during the past 5 mos wil Lainier pain mgmt).

The overall positive, professional and friendly doctors, nurses and all office staff both front and back office. Joel- was effective, knowledgeable, attentive and professionally considerate. Tamara was of excellent, efficient service.

I think you are all great, keep it up.

Dr. Agrawal is one of the worst physicians in existence. He does not value the health of the patient and does not spend an appropriate amount of time assessing and treating patients properly. He is too consumed with ordering unnecessary testing, most in which my insurance did not cover due to the lack of significant diagnoses. A very unethical individual. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. I transferred my care to another physician that actually deserves the title MD.

When I was under his care I was hospitalized 24 or more times in three years. I was having to see him two or three times a month . I always felt bad. Switched to a different heart care croup three years ago which removed me from past heart meds and have had no other hospital stays since and see the Doctor every three months now. SO YOU TELL ME ,,,,,

I have known Dr. Agrawal for many years, first taking my mother in law to him and now for myself. I appreciate that he is a busy doctor, but has time to sit and listen, always personable and knowledgeable. I certainly don't mind waiting a little to see the best. He truly gives me care and concern,along with excellent knowledge of his field for my heart but my emotional and physical condition. I definitely would recommend this doctor without hesitation.

Ok, so the initial testing was great, but he had little to do with it. This doctor failed to actually ask anything regarding my eating or exercise habits before informing me that I should eat less bread to help my sleep apnea. I had been on a paleo diet for a year at that point and had not eaten bread in 9 months. When the CPAP machine did not actually assist me in sleeping, and i woke up more tired than when I started, he said it takes time to adjust. 3 months is a bit much.
