Absolutely worst doctor i have ever seen!! I went to him for a second opinion and he did absolutely nothing for me! waste of my time not only that he’s very rude!

Dr. Galanakis was very dismissive of my symptoms of shortness of breath. He didn’t order any bloodwork or do any echocardiogram etc. My EKG came back normal and said nothing is wrong. He simply stated “I don’t know why you are short of breathe, I can do a chemical stress test but it will probably come back normal.” No further guidance on how to proceed with my symptoms of ongoing dyspnea. Discussed with him that iron supplementation provides me some relief, he said that he never heard or low iron causing dyspnea and fatigue. Left the appointment disappointed and unhappy.

I thought the doctor rushed us through the appointment and was very rude. He told my father he could drop dead any minute, and seemed completely heartless. His condition is very serious but to tell that to someone who has a long road ahead of him is completely out of line. If time wasn’t of the essence I would switch doctors in a heartbeat!!! Not impressed at all!!!! Very disappointed!!

dr Galanakis has been my cardiologist since doing my stent implant about 5 yrs ago, he is superb...

I have been seeing Dr. Galanakis for approximately 30 years now. I have a great deal of trust in him. So much so that my insurance no longer participates with the practice but I just paid out Of pocket to ask him for an opinion. Years ago I was having some issues and he recommended I have a catheterization before I left for a 2 week vacation. I told him I’d have it when I returned. He personally called me twice at home and convinced me to have the procedure done. I went on vacation with a clear mind knowing everything was fine. Not many docs care about their patients this much.

Dr G is amazing. He diagnosed my AFib has has been treating it for yeats with out problems. Very professional & knowledgeable

Dr. Galanakis is a true professional but most importantly a real gentleman and mensch. His knowledge is impeccable and his bedside manner is to be commended. He is dedicated and committed to his patients and their families and provides comprehensive culturally competent care with much kindness and consideration. Pray that when you need a cardiologist at a seriously scarey juncture in your life that dr. Galanakis takes your case.
