Worst surgeon I have ever met. I had Gallbladder removed 7 weeks ago, still feel like never removing it at all, also have new issues come out, I feel miserable.

Doc M FANTASTIC!! we were so scared for my mum who had serious colon blockage. Doc M came in to see her, said here's my game plan, laid it out and we said great. He uses a robot so there was minimal recovery time and approx 5 days later mum was eating solid foods and off to rehab-- could not have asked for a better surgeon. Mum is doing great. Dr Melcer treated my mom (and us) with professionalism and care. He considered all the other health concerns and made contact with the appropriate physicians to ensure the best possible outcome. He is thoughtful and has a caring bedside manner. Even though my mom is elderly he treated her with respect and dignity. Dr Melcer and his staff made us feel that we were in safe hands. His surgery quite possibly saved my moms life with the best possible outcome we could’ve hoped for. We are truly grateful.

Dr. Melcer is an exceptional surgeon. I took my family member to the ER on a Saturday evening. Dr. Melcer came to the ER room to examine my family member, he explained it was a life or death situation. He performed surgery that evening. He communicated with me following the surgery and the next day. He is compassionate, kind, caring and highly professional. Dr. Melcer saved my family member's life. He is an excellent surgeon, we were so fortunate he was available.

Recently Dr. Melcer performed minor surgery on me. He is very personable and has a good bedside manor. Dr. Melcer does not have his head stuck in a computer, he actually sits and talks with his patients. Dr. Melcer makes patient feel extremely comfortable and educated on any procedure he is about to perform. Dr. Melcer has performed two minor surgerys on me and I would feel comfortable recommending Dr. Melcer to anyone.

I would recommend Dr. Melcer to everyone I know. He is kind, he cares and he is great surgeon. I had 4 back to back surgeries from May-Nov. 2015. I was afraid. I had never been sick. I forgot he told me to take a laxative. I was pretty loopy when we spoke. I pray I didn't get him in trouble. I found after care instructions months later that I didn't know I had. I would of saved myself a trip to the ER if I would of read his instructions. 2 surgeons have complimented his work on my colon.

Dr. Melcer explained everything exactly as what my surgery would consist of and the side affects that could happen. He was very through in his explanation.

Dr Melcer is one of a few that can explain what is wrong and what he is going to do to fix it in laymen's terms. He came to my room at 8 PM on a Sunday night after a full day of operations to tell me what was happening. His skill as a surgeon us unequaled. It just happens that he saved my neighbors life a few months before my procedure.
