I have known Dr Hutchinson both as a local veteran Paramedic here in Santa Barbara and as one of my top treating ortho physicians. He's an exceptional doctor that displays compassion and expertise in his field of medicine. He cares! One of SB's best - at Alta Orthopedic.

Overall knowledgeable doctor but being a stubborn diagnosis that needs medication and in this age of CDC this doctor refuses to write prescriptions even after multiple operations
Dr. Hutchinson is someone i'd send any of my friends to. He gets right to the cause of the problem takes time to explain it and treats it. Joe T. Brusca

Walked out after Alta Ortho in Solvang kept us waiting over 90 minutes- we weren't the only patients who left because we were fed up with waiting. They didn't bother telling us he was running late until about 45 minutes after we were supposed to be seen. Apparently this is NORMAL for this doctor. Our time is obviously not valued by Alta Orthopedics in Solvang. We will be sending them a bill for the work my husband missed as a result of their ineptitude.
