When I was born, I had 5 heart defects. My parents knew something was wrong with their baby, but my pediatrician and other specialists kept telling them everything was fine. Dr. Ditchek saved the day- or rather, my life! He took one look at me and said that there is something wrong with either my stomach or my heart. Great Dr.

Amazing pediatrician to my kids! Been using him for years and he truly cares about each child. He is also very calm and relaxed which is great for parents who might be nervous :)

He is a FANTASTIC Doctor! Extremely knowledgeable and caring as well. Another plus is that the wait isn’t crazy long which unfortunately I have experienced in other practices. And my kids love him so it’s a win win!

Dr Diechik was able to accommodate us as a first time patient with just one days notice. He was patient and generous with his time. Our child is very uncomfortable with Dr's however he really liked Dr Diechik. He was patient and informative and he had extensive knowledge about the questions we asked. Poor communication Interested in volume versus the actual patient in his room. He shouldn’t be practicing clinical medicine. His head is into administrative tasks and selling his book from 1991. Save yourself and your child- find another MD.

If you want a doctor who wont ever listen to your opinion he is for you. A doctor who knows how to prescribe antibiotics and nothing more. A typical product of the American Sick care system. It is ok for a patient to research. Be your own advocate. Medical error is the THIRD leading cause of death in the US.

Dr. Ditchek is the best pediatrician in all of Brooklyn. His 20+ years of experience and expert medical knowledge make me feel so comfortable whenever my kids are sick. Our family would never even think of using anyone else!

My kids had been going there for a while but I never dealt with the office before. Today was the first time for me and the result was abysmal. The kid needed stitches, which I mentioned on the phone when booking an appointment. Once we got there I was told that he doesn't do it himself and I will need to find someone else who does it, once he completes his brilliant evaluation. He didn't take the kids' blood pressure, and was absolutely obnoxious when called out on the fact that he just wasted my time and money. Worst doctor visit ever.
