Stewart Charles Garneau

Dr. Garneau is the best oncologist in the Quad Cities (IL). I've been with him for 13 years, and 13 of those years have been Stage IV. His knowledge, sharpness, compassion, and immediate testing has kept me alive for all of these years. He is always up-to-date on the newest drugs/chemo etc., and also will send you if you want for a 2nd opinion or out of state to another specialist in your field of cancer. He is humble and does not take any offense to this action. His goal is to take care of God's children(adults), and God has given him a gift unlike any other oncologist/doctor/surgeon I know (and I've had many). I very highly recommend him, as he is to the point and gives you the details he feels needed, but will always let's you decide your treatment. I pray he stays as long as possible. Thank you Dr. G for the many years you have given me, and the many more you have spoken that I will be on earth; and by the grace of God, your amazing heart, hands and mind. God Bless You.

Dr. Garneau was my brother's doctor but I was there through most of the treatments in his short battle. Honestly when I first met Dr. G, I was upset by his abruptness & brutal honesty. If you want someone to sugar coat things- he's not your guy. If you need someone who will be honest with you no matter how scary, it's him. I grew to really respect him. I wouldn't have chosen anyone else to help us treat my brother's cancer here at home. He took my brothers loss very personally since he was young

Dr Garneau is very intelligent, sharp and colorful! He has been treating my lung cancer for a year now which spread to my spine with other questionable areas. As busy as Dr G and his helpful, professional staff are they always have my out of office tests scheduled and when my surgeon was injured a day before my lung surgery, he made a call and set up an appointment with another Dr the next day. It usually takes weeks to get in, but Dr G made it happen! My family loves his upbeat personality!

Dr. Garneau is an intelligent, compassionate oncologist. He keeps up with the latest research and pours his heart and soul into his patients' care. His staff reflects his values of kindness and competency - they are the best.

Compassionate, thorough and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend Dr Garneau and his amazing staff! His nurses and phlebotomists are just as wonderful as Dr G.
