His office is no longer accepting insurance!!! So senior patients like my mother can no longer afford to go there after over 10 years of being a patient.

I normally get incredible anxiety when visiting any doctor's office but Dr. Tornik's office is completely different. It's such a warm, welcoming, professional but personal environment. We look forward to our appointments instead of dreading them. Such a breath of fresh air.

Dr. Tornik's office nearly cost my son's life. He was misdiagnosed for an ear infections 3 times over a 2 month period only to end up in the hospital with ketoacidosis in a near coma state. When the office examined my son, we asked if he was diabetic and they replied "No" without doing a simple blood sugar test. They kept pumping more antibiotics into him which he did not need when we brought him into the emergency room at Children's hospital. The doctor's office somehow continues to remove our bad reviews. We love Dr. Tornik and his staff. They are all great with children, and go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable. He is patient and humerus and never makes you feel like a number.

Doctor Tornik is the best doctor I have ever had. Knowledgable. Compassionate. Dedicated. Really listens to what you have to say.. Best health care ever.

I wish I had found Dr. Tornik and his staff 6 years ago when we moved to Ohio... For once in our life, we are not just a chart, a number, or a 10-minute window in someone's day. How often do kids LOVE their doctor and have full-on conversations with them, and months later STILL be talking about him? He and his staff truly care, they have heard us out, NEVER have I felt rushed or like I didn't have time to discuss ALL of my concerns and needs. Our preference to treat holistically first (when safe and best practice) is embraced, and they have a wealth of information to share... but when modern medicine is needed, it is right there as well! I had always found docs either ALL modern medicine or ALL holistic... and we really needed someone who embraced both. We feel truly safe and cared for, our needs met, no pushing into any treatments we don't agree with, it's been amazing! PS. Our family drives 1 hour each way to see him, it's WORTH it... and I would drive 2 hours if it meant being able

Awesome down to earth care by Dr Tornik and his staff, made me and my son feel welcome, comfortable and honestly heard out on my concerns without the condescending doctor attitude you get from time to time.

My daughter is a newborn and I was referred to Dr Tornik by my midwives! I saw the 2 NP’s and they were so patient and understanding! This was a great experience and I’m glad my family and I will be joining this practice! It’s definitely worth the 30+ mins drive !!!

My husband and I absolutely LOVE this office and all of their staff that work here. My family has been attending here for 3 years. We love Dr. Tornik so much, that we drive over an hour when we need to schedule a doctors appointment. This office is so helpful with natural advice and holistic care. They always try to find solutions naturally rather than prescribing a ton of pharmaceuticals. Which is personally what we strive for as a family. We love dr tornik! Don’t ever be late though. According to my phone I was 10 minutes late (there policy is 10 minutes) but I was forced to reschedule. This was frustrating because we drive over a hour for dr tornik. But I can understand the importance of keeping on schedule and it effecting others so I’m not mad about it. But a heads up if you go see dr tornik, plan extra time to pull over and nurse your baby if you’re taking a newborn that might need you to pull over because you’ll have to reschedule!

He is thorough, set a time aside appropriate for a complete evaluation. He cares more than about the simple complaint for what you presented. He is an amazing physician and we are so thankful we found him. Even though we live on the other side of the city we happily make the trip to visit him in his office. Excellent!!!

Normally I’ve had a good experience coming here but don’t expect to get in same day even if your kid is really sick!

I have used Dr Tornik for my three children, and myself, for over 5 years. The care provided is excellent every time. We will never go anywhere else.

Dr Tornik continues to surprise me. The first time we met with my family and kids he seemed like the typical sociable doctor that we'd get 5 mins with and be told to take a steroid cream or antibiotic when it may not be needed, but he's so much more. Level headed. Excellent listener, personable and impressed with how he doesn't jump to conclusions quickly and takes his time to diagnose and get the whole picture. Open, flexible and always seems to put the patient first. He's become a very trusted resource that we can rely on and fun to spend time with during visits. Dr Tornik continues to surprise me. Worst tricare prime doctor I’ve been to in this part of the country. Posted the same review on their fb page and was harassed by anti vaxxing fans. The referrals they give aren’t even covered by tricare. Nobody ever responds to voicemails. Besides the fact the close early in Fridays? They never have flu vaccines or any vaccines when we need them. That rubs me like they’re anti vaxxing. If you have tricare prime this is your only option for Columbus. I’m a tricare prime and have no other options in Columbus. They are extremely difficult to deal with referrals, barely pick up the phone, and ignore you when you try to get your bloodwork results. It’s been 2 weeks since I had bloodwork done, called multiple times and they never returned phone calls. I never saw the actual doctor I had appt with nurse that obviously have no clue what’s she doing. I’m a tricare prime and have no other options in Columbus. My experience today was nothing but disrespectful, ridiculous, unprofessional and annoying to say the least. the only reason I am giving this 3 stars at all, and not 1 is because I have been going here for years, and it has always been a great experience... other than today.... I had an appointment scheduled at 7:45 this morning in which I was 10-15 mins late getting to due to traffic on 270 (I live across town an travel to see Tornik). when I went to check-in i said I was a little late as I got stuck in traffic. the girls asked if I called. I said no cause my phone was in the backseat. they then say, well you're more than 10 mins late at this point, let me see if the doctor can still see you. I was like okay. (as there is a sign that says if you're 10 mins late we reserve the right to reschedule). I waited... and waited.... 20 some mins go by and she finally come back to me and says we'll have to reschedule and everyone is booked for the day..... and expected me to leave with that. didn't offer to reschedule me, nothing. So I asked if there was anyway I could get in today. I was then presented with 3 times in which I could come in... I picked an afternoon appointment and came back during my lunch break from work. I get in to be seen by one of the NP's and not my actual doctor which is upsetting considering he's been my doctor for years and knows my history better than anyone else. I am there to have my ankle evaluated as I sprained it a few days prior. not once did she ask me to take the brace off to evaluate my ankle. not once. at this point the swelling is much larger than it was when I went to the ER Friday. She evaluated it just by xrays the ER sent. I don't believe this is normal practice. I tell her about the numbness and muscle spasms I am having. she writes me a script and sends me out. The entire time I felt as if she was just trying to get my out the door. This doctor is great. He's very attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I feel very confident in his skills as a doctor, and he has a wonderful bedside manner (a huge plus!). I highly recommend him.

Recently moved across country, I've had some issues for years. Had a bit of an accident, office called the day after an x-ray to tell me I needed surgery. Within a week I was in with a surgeon. Thankful for the kind office staff & doctors!

We loved our care received! Today in medicine, its hard to find someone who really takes time with patients, on an individual level instead of being treated like a number or a group of symptoms. We appreciate you and all you do! thank you!

What a great office! Dr. Tornik is very friendly and relatable. Tornik and his staff are great. They actually take the time to LISTEN. You don’t just get 10 minutes. Yes the office is a little outdated but I’ve been to many fancy doctors offices that charge you an arm and a leg (we are self pay) and then get 10 min or less. I paid $80 for first visit and $60 for appts after. Many co pays are about that! You won’t find a better doc for the price. Tornik and his staff are great. They actually take the time to LISTEN. They are absolutely amazing!!! The fact that they take Tricare Prime and have the best customer service gives them 5stars in my book. Me and my family have been with them for 2 years and i can say they are the best family doctor i have ever experienced. I have to drive about 45mins to a hour to get to them due to my insurance but it is well worth it. (Active Military spouse) They see several people everyday but when me and my family come they take their time and make me feel like my visit is not just a another name on a list or a paycheck. Dr. Tornik has been our family doctor for over four years. He has an excellent bedside manner, especially with kids. My two boys love him! He doesn't push drugs, which is rare among doctors. Lately I have been seeing his nurse practitioner Britney and she has been amazing. Every time I try to call this office, the customer service person puts me on hold and never picks up the phone. I believe we have racist issues here. Find another doctor please.

The doctor is ok but the way the office is ran is just wrong. They couldn't figure out simple billing to the point that I had to actually do the work of calling my insurance nd the office and get everyone on the same page to where my insurance would be billed correctly . Retired military and I have Tricare Prime. Dr. Tornik is the only Tricare Prime provider even remotely close to where I work/live. I had to actually switch to a less desirable plan so my choice of doctors was expanded. The only reason I had to do this is because no one EVER answers the phone at Dr. Tornik's office and they NEVER return phone calls. I was one of dr tornik's first patients approx. 9 years ago. I was a drug addict searching for a dr to prescribe opiate pain killers.he picked up on this right away and tried his very best to help me, emergency calls after hours he picked up every time I eventually tried to get pills off him and was not following all his attempts to get me off the drugs unfortunately he had no choice and kicked me out of his practice,at the time I was so pissed but it took him doing this for me to finally say I need help. Dr Tornik is a breath of fresh air. He listens and works with you to get you the best treatment. I have had issues with some staff being disorganized but it has improved and is worth it to have a Dr who treats me with respect and works hard to find the actual issues in my health.

My 2 year old has gone to Dr. Tornik since he was born. The whole office has a very "home" feel.. No white walls, fluorescent lights, or chemically smells. Tornik is an AMAZING doctor, especially for children. He's patient, kind, and always gives great advice. The only reason Dr. Tornik's office hasn't reached a full 5 stars is because 1 person had insurance/billing issues, and decided to blame the wonderful and caring staff. Dr. Tornik has always been great to my family. While my dad was experiencing issues he always went above and beyond and even would call my mom daily to get updates at some points. I have never had a doctor be so personable and care so much about the patient. I drive an hour one way to see him he is that good.

Everyone who works here is cheerful and helpful, Dr Tornik has been great, especially with kids.

Dr. Tornik and his staff have been very kind and extremely helpful. They are also efficient. This is all I could ever ask of a family doctor.

Recently moved from Colorado and were bummed to leave our wonderful doctors behind. Dr. Tornik's and his staff have made us feel right at home and have been fantastic to work with. We have young children and Dr. Tornik has been very patient and kind with them... answering their many questions and allowing them to warm up to him. Beyond being knowledgeable and proactive, he and his staff took the time to be kind to my kids and set them at ease, which is so important to me. Yes, it is a small family practice and they only have one phone line. But they also know us by name and are quick to return messages. Yes, if you are running really late they often can't accommodate you and will need to reschedule. But they also run on time and we are actually seen within a few minutes of our appointment time. Many other offices may be able to accommodate someone running 30 minutes late, but you also sit in the waiting room for an hour before you're seen. Additionally, we really appreciate that Dr. Tornik is very supportive of our "alternative" health choices and is quick to offer pros and cons of different options.
