Dr. Steven Gary Tillett

I would stay away from this guy. Not sure where he got his “foot” degree, but he is worse than a butcher. Not even a good butcher. He did an operation on my friend’s foot. He just chopped off a part of the bone without any grafting. My friend subsequently saw an actual orthopedic Medical Doctor who was terrified at what this guy did. Stay away from him.

Dr. Tillett has treated my mom, my husband and me. Last visit with him, I needed a surgical procedure. Dr. Tillett took extra time with me & was the pinnacle of compassion and caring as he walked me through everything, allayed my fears, did an excellent job, gave me both written & verbal instructions, & my toe healed perfectly. I had to move away, and am so sorry to lose this excellent doctor. He has helped me through plantar fasciitis, made excellent orthotics for me, & with perfect, caring procedures & explanations. The best ever in a wonderful combination of professionalism, expertise, good humor, caring, & cheerfulness. What a blessing he is--I miss him already. Don't pass up your chance to be in the care of this wonderful one-of-a-kind doctor.

One of the rare doctors nowadays who takes time to listen to a patient, actually think about the problem and come up with a solution. He also takes time to explain his rationale to a patient which is also a rarity nowadays. I take my whole family to see him for various issues and we've been happy so far. He is good at treating plantar fasciitis as well as diagnosing stress fractures (which an ER doc decided to call gout and had me walk on for a week until I couldn't do it anymore). Recommended

Wonderful dr, kind staff, no wait, and knowledgeable! My foot is now healing well from a very painful ingrown toenail surgery botched by another doctor I went to, 2 weeks ago! Thanks for the awesome care, Dr. Tillet!

Dr. Tillett is one of the best ever! He did the last few surgeries I had done, esp. on my right great toe and this was over 10 years ago and guess what? The implant never failed, never broke and I have never had a stitch of trouble since then. My left foot? A co-work and I got plantar fasciitis at about the same time. I met with Dr. Tillett and my co-work went some where else. Dr. Tillett and his staff were very friendly and provided great information. I followed his recommendations and I've been pain free for months. My co-worker who went somewhere else is still suffering.

I have had very positive experiences with Dr. Tillett. I am a 66 yo male and Dr. Tillett has been treating my toenail fungus. His attitude has always been positive, he has a great sense of humor, yet he takes his job very seriously. He is very knowledgeable and shares his knowledge willingly. I have been getting my toenail fungus treated with various treatments for years to no avail. I would recommend this specialist to anyone who wants premium foot care by an enthusiastic practitioner.

If you require information about this individual, contact the Oregon Medical Board and ask if any complaints have been filed against him. I would never recommend this individual to anyone, ever.

I've been going to him for years. I was first diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I wore the sleeping splint and worked hard at physical therapy with great results. He has helped me with other ailments, as they pop up.

My foot is irreparably damaged as a result of Dr. Tillett's interventions. Cannon in good faith recommend him to anyone lest thy suffer he same fate.

Does not cut toe nails personally and assigns this job to office personnel.

We LOVE Dr. Tillett but sadly we will not be using his office again. Our young daughter has been waiting a year for her appointment and has been counting down the days to see him for almost 4 months. When we arrived at his office, no one was there except an office attendant who told us he was at his other location. We've never been to that location and our records were at his PDX office. When making the appointment no one told us it would be at his other location nor did anyone mention it in the reminder call. Very disappointing. Now we need to find someone last minute - if possible.
