Dr. Tarr is fantastic! He explains everything throughly, and takes the time to make sure your questions are answered. I have seen him many times for myself, and my son. He has always been accurate and solved our problems.

Dr. Tarr was phenomenal. He was prompt, thorough and kind. His reputation as the best doctor in the Cedar Valley is true. I needed stitches for a bad cut which he performed with excellent precision. My cut healed without scaring and I will continue to go to the Arrowhead clinic for any health issues I have in the future. It’s a wonderful facility and they’re lucky to Dr. Tarr.

The only reason I go to this convienant care still, is in the hopes of being seen by Dr. Tarr. Unfortunately,from experience between my son and myself we have had to utilize the services of "walk in clinics" somewhat frequently and I have often been left disappointed by the rudeness, and answers given(or rather lack of) by other providers(some even in this same clinic). However, time and time again, Dr. Tarr provides knowledgeable,clear answers to what is going on. He's respectful and listens.A+

As a new patient at Arrowhead, I did not know what to expect. I had been sent by my provider who could not see me timely. Dr. Tarr was everything I would hope and expect in a physician. He was attentive and helpful, and was caring and concerned. I appreciated both!!!

Dr. Tarr was very thorough in his analysis of my condition, giving me more than enough information to help answer questions even before I asked them, and calm my fears.

Extremely jaded, rude, and disrespectful doctor and person. I was having symptoms with a condition for a couple of weeks so I went into the urgent care clinic because I could not get an appointment with my regular doctor. I told Dr. Tarr my symptoms and he told me that I did not have symptoms and filled out my screening accordingly. After he reticently performed the procedure he informed my insurance that it was done without symptoms and they billed me in full. Again, extremely rude arrogant man

Met him at urgent care with increasing back and stomach pain. Did a blood test and gave tentative diagnosis, but referred to hospital ER better equipped for in depth testing. Resulted in 90 mi. ambulance ride to U of IA Hospitals and two surgeries over the next two days. Dr. Tarr had totally nailed the disorder. One of the required procedures could not have been done locally.

I went into the urgent care center with pain and fears about my condition. He was very straightforward and thorough in his analysis and diagnosis, listening to my concerns and symptoms. I really appreciated that he talked to me without the confusing doctor jargon and made it easy to understand what was going on and how to best recover.

Very caring, listens to his patients, and takes time with his patients.
