Dr. Steven D Sun

Dr. Sun is an extremely intelligent and kind Doctor. At each visit I was always able to get in quickly, have my questions and needs attended to, and out the door. It's odd to say that I've always enjoyed my visits with him and his MA! I will certainly refer him to others! He does great work

Dr. Sun's office staff was consistently professional and friendly. Dr. Sun was warm and understanding, willing to explain what the issue was and what the final result would probably be. He didn't give me false hope, but was honest. He answered questions, showed me ex-rays and explained them. I feel he did the best job he could. I have used Dr. Sun in years past for other surgery and had great results. I highly recommend him. He is a very nice Dr. and is extremely knowledgeable.

Great doctor and great staff. Got in right away, able to work me into surgery right away, as I wiped my thumb joint out. Always on time and quick and easy to get into. Hope I don't have more injuries, but if I do, I will definitely go back. I live two hours away and they are worth it!

Professional, skilled, approachable is how I would rate Dr. Sun. After developing severe arthritis in my hands, and having a difficult time finding a surgeon, I was referred to Dr Sun. It was nice to find a surgeon that was a advocate for “my” health. The combination of approachable staff and quality care has allowed me to continue my career in the construction industry pain free. Quality of life is a big deal, and Dr. Sun was a big contributor to the quality in my life.

I NEVER post reviews but after our third visit (and surgery) with Dr. Sun I was asking THEM where I could post a review. Really, I am that impressed with Dr. Sun and his entire team. My son had to have surgery after tearing a ligament in his thumb while playing baseball. We could not have asked for a better experience. Wow, cannot recommend Dr. Sun high enough. He has just recently worked on my right hand. He previously dealt with my left hand 2-years ago and both surgeries and follow-up therapy at his office were very successful. The surgeries have totally taken away my "grip pain" in both hands. His staff are superb and very personable.

Dr. Sun repaired my broken right wrist very successfully. He had to put in a titanium plate and after 2 months I'm out of my splint and using my wrist. The scar is minimal and I really enjoyed our pre- and post- surgery meetings. He was attentive to my questions & needs and his staff were friendly and greeted me by name. I would definitely recommend him!!

I've had the "opportunity" to enjoy Dr. Sun's expertise on a couple occasions due to accidental hand and wrist injuries. Every time, the interactions with Dr. Sun and the staff at Proliance have been excellent. I always felt like my questions were answered with sincere consideration, in a reassuring manner, which gave me confidence. The procedures were described fully, the surgeries conducted very professionally and the follow ups very thorough. Overall excellent experience.

I was referred to Dr. Sun for an evaluation and biopsy after after a hematoma under my fingernail decided to go sideways. Dr Sun spent a grand total of 4 minutes looking at the hematoma, didn't bother with an biopsy and did a visual evaluation where he confidently said it was a vascular lesion. He referred me for surgery in 9 weeks. Hey, guess what, my 'vascular lesion' was a stage 4 Acral Melanoma. Lost the finger. Thanks, doc. Next time someone refers someone for a biopsy, do it?
