Steven Strang

Dr. Strang is so easy to talk to about any of my health issues. I’ve made his schedule fall behind because he spent time with me I would wait as long as I had to in his walk in or my regular appointments. If he’s running behind it’s because a patient needed his time. When he’s in the room with you he’s giving you his full attention.

Dr. Strang took the time to listen to my concerns as the patient, as well as actually hearing what I was saying. I had suffered for two weeks longer than needed because I was blown off by Unity Point. Dr. Strang listened to my unnecessary frustrations as well as prior health issues to determine proper treatment needed. He was finally able to bring me some relief all while being kind and considerate. I didn't feel like he was trying to rush out of the door like most, even though the clinic was busy. Dr. Strang has been my our primary doctor for several years. Our children and grandchildren are also his patients. He is extremely knowledgeable and relates well to patients of all ages. Dr. Strang was my doctor in 2010-2014 and when I went back to Mercy Pleasant Hill in 2021 I requested him to be be my doctor once again. Knowledgeable, personable, brings himself down to my level and explains what's going on. Helps me look for most cost-effective meds and treatment while still helping to alleviate problem.

Dr. Strang has been our family doctor for 10 years or so. He's awesome. I'm usually able to get in to see him quickly.
