Hello, anyone who writes a Negative Review must have had a bad day. Dr. Stewart has the most Amazing Bedside Manners of a Doctor I've ever met. His staff are very Nice and friendly. We all have challenging days in this day, we have to understand the world we are in. Love this Practice and highly recommend!!!!!

Showed up for appt. 15 mins early. Nurse was done with pre-exam stuff (weight, BP, etc.) and brought to exam (waiting) room at appt. time. Sat disrobed (just in thin paper exam gown) in exam room cold, unattended for 35 mins. Who knows what time he would've eventually appeared. Had enough, got dressed and left. Prior visit wait was about 15 mins, not ideal but acceptable. No subsequent texts, emails, phone calls offering apology from Dr's Office. Filed report with insurance company

Great doctor who's very attentive to my needs and is comprehensive. It's a pleasant to visit. I highly recommend.

Dr. Stewart is very compassionate, empathetic, detail oriented doctor with great bed side manners. He was able to detect a serious medical condition that I was able to deal with before it turned into a even more serious condition. I have had other specialist tell me that I have a great PCP and were surprised that he caught this medical condition. Dr. Stewart and his staff are the best! He takes the time to explain what is going on and insist on getting down to the root cause. His staff has always been professional, courteous, and very helpful.

My family has been with Dr. Stewart over 10 years. The staff changes and on too many occasions provides questionable service. I called several times to speak with billing (specifically Debra Lee). She never called me back. We were billed $120 because of a missed physical. Too be fair, not the first time my husband failed to cancel. But on the other side of things, the correspondence we received dated November 1, advised rates for cancelling an appointment is $60 and for a physical $120. It also stated the rates where effective October 15 (15 days prior). We never received a notification of rate changes and when you book an appointment, you are not advised of missed appointment fees (or at least we haven't been). Ms. Lee advised, Dr. Stewart doesn't send out rate changes. Ok, is it me, or wouldn't that responsibility fall with billing. Anyway, we're out. Never going back. Told her this, she seemed fine with it. Dr, Stewart is phenomenal, his staff is not.

I was referred by a friend because Dr. Stewart is a great doctor and they are taking new patients, however, I have been trying to make an appointment FOR A MONTH. Scheduler does not call you back and is never available when called. I have tried calling in the early morning, mid-morning, and afternoon. I have left a voicemail to be called back and nothing has worked. It would be great to see a doctor if I could make an appointment.

I have been a patient for over 10 years as well as my entire family, and I can tell you that he is the best doctor that I have been under in my adult life! I am not sure of the complaints of some of these post, as I can attest for the character of this man. He is nothing short of professional and class! He may have had some front office issues in the past but most businesses have those with the event of turn over. His office is rock solid now and as always he is still the catalyst that makes it all work. You don't win the award for doctor of the year if you are a 1 star performer. Just look at the articles on his wall and you will see he has accomplished this award several times. Hope this helps. Our Family Doctor for over a decade. Great partner in assisting us to maintain good health. He is very competent and not aggressive in medical recommendations. Until there is no more sickness...we appreciate doctors like Steven Stewart.

Dr Stewart has been primary physician for my husband and myself since before he set up his own practice — back when he was part of Prucare. He is personal, thorough, carng, courteous. He provides referrals when necessary and will always see you when you are sick — a matter of squeezing you into a busy schedule. We have been patients for more than 20 years and have appreciated his professional care all that time.

Everyone at the Dr.'s Office was SO kind. Especially Dr. Stewart's wife! She helped me with my appointment. Dr. Stewart was very nice and made me feel very comfortable in the Dr's office.

Dr. Stewart is a physician who really cares for his patients. He takes time to listen to you and is extremely knowledgeable. He doesn’t hesitate to refer you to a specialist if he feels there is a need. I have been going to him for quite a few years now. He sees my husband as well. All the staff are very professional yet friendly. Dr. Stewart will forever be our primary doctor!

Dr. Stewart has been my Doctor since the Day he started his own practice. He give excellent advice. And his staff is friendly. I moved far and he's the only Doctor, I will see. God Bless You !

I swear the turnover rate has sky rocketed in the past 5 years. Only one familar face. Just recently the nurse of 15 years resigned. I think the lady in the front is gone cause I haven't seen her in a while. Good luck speaking to staff. Ive witnessed the phone ring and ring but no one picks up. My balance is always wrong . The most horrible experience with the office. I made an appointment for July 30 as a new patient. When I called to confirm, they did not have me in the calendar, and would not give me an appointment for weeks later, I explained I was going out of the country and needed a few scripts, after begging for mercy they let me talk to the nurse who gave me an appointment for August 12, two days before my trip. when I arrived for a 7:30 am appointment, they said my insurance card did not match what was in their system. I phoned Cigna, the office staff refused to call them, after 25 minutes Cigna said I was in their system as Marty, not Martha, and though they could send an eligibility letter, the office still would not accept it. My policy is through my husband who is a patient at this office. The Cigna office tried and tried, to no avail. She finally phoned them to help.They were more concerned about payment, they expressed no kindness, nor care, they could have billed the insurance and collected from me if it didn't pay, but that was never discussed. As I decided this was not the kind of practiced I wanted to be in, as I left they suggested I could pay the full fee and deal with the insurance on my own. This was only after me being practically in tears because I had waited another month after the first foul up, also on their part. My insurance was good, the CIGNA people told them so, my id matched my face, as did my ssn, my husband's name. IN the past two weeks I went to urgent care, had no issues with my insurance card, it has paid without issue for years. This type of rigidity serves no one, and if Dr, Stewart goes along with this type of treatment then he is missing something. My husband did not have this experience, but I will be sure and tell others about my experience. And I am left with no MD. Thank God for urgent care offices who treat you with more dignity and care than this office. If I could post 0 * I would do so. Even a kind apology would have helped. horrible experience,office staff made an appointment for me as new patient,then when I called to confirm the time did not have me on the books,and they could not schedule a new patient for two more weeks,this was after I begged for something before leaving the country.No apology.Today I arrived for 7:30 appointment and they said they could not see me because my insurance card had Marty instead of Martha on it, they refused to call Cigna, I did, Cigna called them, no avail. This practice is great! . Since I moved here in 09 I found this office I have had nothing but great feedback and customer service. Dr Stewart is genuine calm guy who listens which is hard to find nowadays. All my concerns were met with compassion and medical advice. I think that Dr. Steven Stewart may possibly be the finest family practitioner that my sickly 87 year old mother has ever been to. My mom first met him when she was deathly sick from pneumonia. She was sent to Dekalb Medical hospital where Dr. Stewart saved her life. Please ignore any negative review that does not speak the truth about such a fine, honest, and compassionate family doctor. Dr. Stewart has been my mom's family doctor for many years, and last week he spent about 45 minutes with her; consoling her and treating her. Please remember, the only negative review said that the complaining patient's father saw Dr. Stewart for many years. Why would that father go and see Dr. Stewart all those years if he didn't think highly of him. As my mothers primary doctor, I can assure you that you won't find a finer doctor than Dr. Steven Stewart. I think that Dr. Steven Stewart may possibly be the finest family practitioner that my sickly 87 year old mother has ever been to. My mom first met him when she was deathly sick from pneumonia. She was sent to Dekalb Medical hospital where Dr. Stewart saved her life. That was many years ago, and my mom still see's Dr. Stewart as her primary care doctor. If you need an honest and medically knowledgeable family doctor who is compassionate and caring, please go see Dr. Steven Stewart.

At the time I visited Dr. Stewart I was 21. I had been complaining of back pain in my lower back for about 6 months. My mother thought that it would be a great idea for me to go to him, since my father had been for years. We made an appointment and proceeded to speak with Dr. Stewart. He seemed a little stand-offish at first, and as I began to explain what was bothering me (my lower back pain) he quickly brushed off my complaints and diagnosed my back pain as "skeletal" or muscular as if I had strained something or pulled a muscle. He completely ignored my description of the pain as "coming from INSIDE my back." Also, as I tried to tell him about something else that was bothering me, he cut me off and said you'll just have to make another appointment to ask me about that. He was short, rude, and came off VERY ARROGANT. I had to stop myself from crying I was so appalled! I couldn't believe how abrupt and rude he was! I vowed never to go back to him again. My back continued to bother me on and off for about 3 months. At the age of 22 I was rushed to the emergency room early in the morning. My lower back pain turned out to be A KINDEY STONE! So, Mr. Know-It-All Dr. Stewart didn't know much after all. SMH I wish that Dr. Stewart had been more thorough in our appointment, which would have resulted in the stone being caught earlier. If it wasn't for this misdiagnosis, I would not have had to go through the vomiting and the excruciating pain, to the point of hospitalization. I am now 23, and have been kidney stone free for a year now. I am writing this review now because I have STILL been bothered by the thought that I never said a word to him about how he treated me.
