Dr. Steven Emery Stern

Went in for an appointment today and got turned right around due to them not taking my insurance. Before I called I did my research and made sure they took my insurance even gave my information over the phone when I made the appointment. Such a waste of my time I’m livid.

Love Doctor Stern !!! Was going to him for 19 years . He delivered my only daughter 11 years ago . I still go to him !!! Very dedicated professional. Blessed to know him and still be able to go to his office

I love Dr. Stern. I've been a patient for over a decade. He is very direct yet personable. I recently move to PA and I miss him a great deal. He has seen me through a pregnancy, hormone therapy, and weight loss help!!! A great doctor for your all around women's health!!!

I was referred to Dr. Stern about 19 years ago. I am very grateful that he was there to take care of my high risk pregnancy and delivery, he is an amazing doctor. He always knows just what to say to put me at ease, and I thank him every time I see him for how healthy and happy my preemie baby is today... in college!!!

Been going to Dr Stern for a little over 3 years now, he is the best OB/GYN I've ever had! The nurses will answer questions if I call.. and yes, it's the quickest PAP ever!

Best, most trusted Dr I have ever had. I am devastated he's no longer taking OBs and can't find anyone to reasonably replace him. I trust him and felt like he treated me like family. Very gentle, kind, conservative, and has a very reasonable approach to treatment.

Dr. Stern has delivered two of my children and three of my grandchildren. He saw me through 3 miscarriages and is a very special bedside manner. Dr. Stern figured out that something was wrong with our grandson. He had a tumor on his spine. We lost Jacob shortly after birth. I have been going to Dr Stern for over 32 years. I now travel 3 hours to go back for appointments with him. He delivered my son, he helped me thru a miscarriage and a lump in my breast. Very caring doctor and staff.

My first visit was awful. I will not be back! I just moved here and I was already iffy about trying a new obgyn and this visit didn’t make it any easier. The staff weren’t friendly. I have Nexplanon inserted for contraception. The nurse and doctor both tell me they don’t insert or remove..okay fine. It’s not due to come out until July 2018 anyway. Next, the doctor says, “Who put it in, Planned Parenthood?” which was very inappropriate. I should’ve left then but I stick it out. The doctor looked like he had dandruff all over his scrubs. I never leave reviews but I felt this one was necessary. My first visit was awful. I will not be back! I have been a patient of Dr. Stern since 1985. He delivered both of my boys. My first son in 1985 and my second son in 1988. Never seems rushed, answers all of your questions. Personable!

Excellent,knowledgeable and friendly doctor. Have been seeing him for over 30 years. Now going for biote pellets. Must check out his practice.

Best OB/GYN Around!

My OBGYN...he's the best. Delivered my baby and my sister's son 2.5yrs ago. Quickest PAP you'll ever have also.

Dr . Stern has formed the ablation surgery on myself when I have spoken with other highly credentialed doctors who said they never would've because they never would've believed the result I personally would have gained from it... I personally had amazing results from it life-changing results increasing the quality of life for myself again other doctors thought he did an awesome job . Because given my situation with my severe female problems they just felt it would be a waste of time with no gaIn

Dr Stern is very direct and concise, but he can also be very compassionate and kind when needed. He's also very conservative, but will listen and give realistic advice. Staff is also very pleasant and kind.

Dr. Stern is very easy to communicate with. He is very to the point, and demonstrates a master of knowledge when it come to Hormones. He is treating both myself, and may wife, after several bad experiences with Doctors and Hormone Replacement. Dr Stern is an excellent choice of provider!

He has been a doctor of mine since he started in 1979. Love his patience and his staff. Hiss office is nicely taken care of and he makes me feel very comfortable.

Dr. Stern and his nurse are amazing; The two of them earn 5 stars! But the male in the front office is incredibly rude and disorganized. We changed insurance but I called Stern's office to confirm that they accept the new plan BEFORE purchasing it. The male told me yes. I showed up for my appt 3 weeks later and the same (only) male told me no. Apparently they accept the plan under medicaid but not private. He should have told me that when I asked! I had to find a new OBGYN at 27 weeks prego.

I'm actually crying here.... I am so upset. It has been a year since I've had my son... he's my 4th child. And all I want is an IUD. I called months ago to have the IUD delivered. The last thing they told me was that they would call me when it arrived. Well. that never happened, and I am finally only my P. Guess what... the plan changed to where the insurance company is supposed to call me... and I'm supposed to pay for the IUD upfront. BTW time my P comes around again, or NOT - I may be pregnan

Dr. Steven E. Stern is a great Doctor. However, the front office staff is the Worst I have ever experienced. They need some guidance in professionalism. Because of this recurring experience, I will be looking for a new doctor. I wanted to see him one last time... and i was told that he would not see me because i have decided to complained about his Staff. I was never able to talk to him to let him know what is going on.
