Dr. Steven Mark Sorscher

Dr. Sorscher is extremely knowledgeable and the most caring doctor any patient could have. He takes all the time you need and answers all questions. I feel so very fortunate to have him as my doctor!

This physician recently treated my 40 year old daughter with breast cancer. As the father and being a physician myself, he went above and beyond any positive attribute that would be expected as an oncologist and MD. He was very knowledgeable, informative and thorough in his care. He was also personally accessible. Most importantly, he was very caring and compassionate at every visit and we always felt and knew that my daughter was the main focus of his care. Dr Sorscher was excellent and I would highly recommend him to anyone, patient, parent or physician, who is seeking breast cancer treatment and management. Don W Moore MD

My family & I feel Dr Sorscher very likely saved my life. After a 10 yr remission & being misdiagnosed by two oncologists in Charlotte, NC, only Dr Sorscher took the time to further investigate & diagnosis my cancer. I was then able receive the correct treatment. Though the treatment was difficult, I felt Dr Sorscher was with me each step of the way. His unwavering concern & knowledge of cancer is unparalleled by any oncologist I've met. I feel very privileged to be his patient and forever grate

Dr. Sorscher was our oncologist for my husband's stage 4 colon cancer in 2013-2014 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. He is incredibly smart, funny and caring. He doesnt get offended when I questioned his reasoning or opinion, but instead gave us time to ask questions until we felt comfortable with our path. We are currently 15 months post-chemo and cancer-free and we owe him our life. His staff at Barnes was absolutely the best...hoping his staff in North Carolina is as good. Thank you, Steven.
