Dr. Steven Francis Soltes

Dr. Soltes was very kind and made my mom feel comfortable. He was very professional and resolved my mom’s issue quickly and painlessly. We were extremely satisfied and recommend Dr. Soltes!

Dr Soltes was amazing. He administered a difficult test to me running a tube through my nose into my throat and yet he was patient and very caring in helping me get through it. He was very thorough in his explanations for future treatment. I highly recommend this doctor!

Im an IT analyst for a medical company and my mom is 92 and cant hear in her left ear, as a result she has ringing in that ear making it impossible to sleep. He spent 10 minutes with her to clean her ears only to tell us he cant help her. No discussion about hearing aids No hearing test Nothing Unbelievable ! The admin at the desk who checked us in (grey outfit ) was cold aloof and indifferent until hrr pizzza arrived. It was a waste of time doesnt suprise me as she is only following the example of the Dr. she works for. Do not waste your time here ! Bedside manners zero ! You guys are in the wrong business

After waiting 1 month and an hour drive, I was refused service because I didnt have a credit card to be left on file. Extremely horrible customer service. What a waste of a day. Save your time and go elsewhere.

Horrible nightmare. When I was 30 years old Dr. Soltes removed a lymp node from under my chin. He told me, "I took the problem out and now you will need a face and neck lift when you are older". I thought he was rude but I did not understand why he would say this to me. I went to another doctor who said the problem was a herniated muscle not a lymph node problem. I had surgery for the herniated lymph node. Years later in my 50's I realized Dr.Soltes cut my neck muscles and my neck and face would be messed up for life. After numerous surgeries, a lot of money and many years I have a decent neck. I will always have a memory of Dr. Soltes as being a horrible butcher obviously with a terrible bed side manner. I wish I could recoup the financial and emotional burden from Dr. S. Soltes from Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL. It has taken me many years to write this story. I hope I can help others. What i liked about this doctor is his honesty, experience, no shortcuts, that's what doctors supposed to be , not money hungry and no mercy,Thank you doctor

Rude. Tried to overcharge me despite being in my network of providers. Obviously he had to know he was in my network as he is the only one who could have signed the contract! Really unethical. He wouldn’t return my balance to me until forced to do so.

Amazing doctor. I’ve been to 2 doctors and the ER and they couldn’t figure out how to make me better. I was sick for 12 days and only getting worse. Once I visited Dr. Soltes, he knew just by the look of my tonsils what i had and how to fix it. Not even 2 days after my appointment I saw major changes and started feeling MUCH better! Fantastic! He fixed all of my ear problems! Also the ladies at the front desk are all so pleasant and informative.

Very experienced! very experienced not interested in cutting into you right away. Very conservative yet one of the most experienced surgeons in the city

I had to have surgery to remove a nasal polyp. Soltes was very detailed and did such a fantastic job listening to my concerns and needs. I really felt comfortable knowing he would do a great job. He did. I had no complications. I felt like he truly caress for his patients unlike some ENTs I have had in the past.

01/19/18: Waited over 1:15 minutes to see the doctor. After 3 patients were called ahead of me - I checked with the staff to be sure there wasn't a sign-sheet I missed........why have an appointment?

He took time to see me while I was in the hospital, very king and helpfull. Also seen me in his office, he took time to check me out thourgh and explane my situtation. Would highly recommend.

My grandson was getting ear infections all the time. I took him to see Dr. Soltis, his pediatrician referred us to see him. What a blessing he is. He put tubes in his ears and that helped so much. He was so gentle and kind to my grandson ( has autism ) not always able to do much as far as getting close to him. He gravitated to Dr. Soltis. I was so amazed at how gentle he was with him. My grandson couldn't wait to go back for his follow up appointments. Thank God for Dr. Solti's. My grandson was getting ear infections all the time. I was able to schedule this visit same day. The doctor was very informative and clear while going over the reason of my visit. I felt very comfortable from the minute I completed my paperwork to the time I was leaving. I would highly recommend Dr. Soltes.

Appointment Jan 23, 2017. This was my first and last experience with Dr. Soltes. In my opinion he (1) lacks empathy and patience for new patients, not taking time to explain anything; (2) is curt (based on his responses to questions I attempted to ask); (3) was not professional, choosing instead to walk out of room instead of having patience with me. I understand this is just my experience and others may have better ones. I can only share mine. Overall if I was grading it would be C- or D

I bring my elderly mother to Dr Soltes and he is always patient and kind. Parking is a hassle at the Christ Hospital location. It is free but you have to walk a ways.

I went to see Dr. Soltes to learn about the ringing in my ear and to find out what can be done about it. After a hearing test by one of his nurses, he came in and told me that my hearing is normal and that the sound I hear in not in my outer nor my inner ear. It's coming from inside my head. Thank's, Doctor, but I knew that through observation, because I am living it. Why I came to you was for you to tell me about new studies, advancements, and to give me hope for a cure. I had avist on Nov, 17th 2015. I am having a chronic tonsilis. .. I tried to explain about my throat history problems, but he did not listen I feel he just want me out fast..he was rushed me... And in his office i asked him what you recomend for my situation and he said he cant say any thing.. And he said if i want to hav the tonsiloctmy just call the office .and when i did they tried to send me another place ...they might not like my insurance . Overall bad experience.
