Dr. Smith has monitored my skin for over 30 years detecting cancerous tissue for five Mohs surgeries. He cares about his patients and explains problems and treatments with you. Highly recommend Dr Smith. LGS

Always have had a good experience with Dr Smith. He is professional knowledgeable and courteous every time I have seen him. His diagnosis is on target and his treatment through and effective. A number of the reviews I have read deal with the staff and scheduling rather than the doctor except the one about Dr Smith not being empathetic with her mother’s brain surgery. If I wanted empathy for brain surgery I would get an appointment with my brain surgeon rather than a dermatologist. Just trying to help. Always have had a good experience with Dr Smith. Terri is wonderful! I have been going to her for my skin checks and she always puts me at ease and is very thorough. Dr. Smith is very pleasant as well! Highly recommend this practice!

I have been seeing Dr. Smith for 37 years every 6 months for skin cancer. You couldn't find a better doctor. The entire staff is professional. This low rating is completely unfounded he is a true professional.

Been a patient of Dr Smith's since 1984. Since his office has been taken over by new accounting folks, it has been a REAL pain to deal with. Never have I been so disrespected. They mis- represent everything. Will NEVER return to this office again. Had my records wrong, wrong phone number....etc. I complained to Dr smith on my last visit and now again today, the same thing. My mother came to Dr. Smith for a simple skin procedure and he treated her very poorly. He did not explain things well to her and made her feel like complaining about the pain she has from a brain surgery site is trivial. I wonder if this doctor has ever had brain surgery and what he would do if he was in as much agony as my mother? I wouldn't wish it on anyone, but it would have been nice to get a little compassion from a healthcare professional. The sad fact is that his staff also echoes his negative behavior. Done with his office and accounting people.

Constantly making mistakes about schedule appts. Over charging. Lack of communication and all you hear is a bunch of excuses! Seriously can the front desk staff get it together? Trained monkeys can probably do a better job!

This place is is all about money! i had to cancel an appointment one day and they say call back and leave a message then I get a bill for missing an Appointment $50-80.00 for missing an appointment. These people will sit there and tell u didn’t call to ur face and then tell me that I have unpaid missing appointment last yr....u never get them to get ur prescription because doctor has to give authorization... this place a bunch RUDE ASS PEOPLE!!! U guys were just a close enough... ur all FIRED!!!!!! Derma Spa is my "go to" place for looking younger. You see I am 77 years old and have lots of small wrinkles and some sagging. I see Danielle O'Neill, an aesthetician, at Derma Spa on at least a yearly basis. She is the best. She has you point out what bothers you most about your face as you hold a mirror. She makes recommendations and then lets you make the decision. In my case it is usually an injection of restalyn a filler for volume loss in my face. I am always very pleased with the outcome. Derma Spa and Danielle O'Neill are the place and person to trust with making you look younger and better. J. P. Derma Spa is my "go to" place for looking younger. I take my daughters there for acne checks. Each time the staff has been informative and helpful. When I had a problem with the pharmacy they helped me quickly to find a less expensive alternative.

Dr. Smith is a wonderful doctor! I started seeing him as a teenager and still come to him 10+ years later. He is very knowledgeable and wise! Quick and accurate diagnosis! Go see him, he will take care of you!

I would not recommend this office for your dermatological needs. I have never be so aggravated as I am right now trying to get a prescription pre-authorized because of my new insurance plan requirements. The staff has been incredibly rude to me as well as the BCBS prescription representative that called on my behalf. Not to mention, the doctor himself is never available to see unless you want to wait for MONTHS for an appointment and you never know what PA you will see because there is always a new one. He must have a revolving door for his PAs. Have just found a new Dermatologist to see after this experience. I would not recommend this office for your dermatological needs. Pretty terrible. I was there for a total of 2.5 hours with only about 15 minutes of face time with the PA. They blamed the long wait on "switching systems" which is understandable, but plan ahead. Don't make patients suffer for your failure to plan accordingly. After all that, the PA told me to wait in the examination room and she'd be "back in a minute". 20 minutes later I came out to find that she had forgotten about me. Avoid this place. Pretty terrible. Have repeatedly tried to contact the Kingwood office on 12/23/15 to no avail. The answering service would not give out info as to whether the office is closed or not this week. How can patients no the status when no information is provided?

Great service and experience, was recommend by several of my wife's family and they were right. I've been a few times for various skin issues over the past few years.

Thank you for your reviews ladies. It is unfortunate that they are over 2 years old and we have not heard anything about any undue events until now. With regard to peels or account information. We do hope to service all your dermatology needs in the future if given the chance.

I saw Dr. smith for the first time in about 6 years. First, I just want to say that his back office staff has really stepped it up from the last time I was there. My general doctor sent me to him because he couldn't diagnose my problem. Dr. smith diagnosed it in 2 mins, treated me and I was on my way. He is a brilliant man and his assistant seemed smart as hell too. I was extremely happy with my visit. The doc and his employees with him are wonderful and caring. I was a new patient and very nervous about what to expect. Appointment was at 9:30 got there at 9:15, filled out my paperwork and was called back at 9:30..The staff was very very nice! I was put in my room and within 5 minutes the PA came in. We talked about why I was there she looked at my condition and admitted she did not know and went to get Dr Smith. They looked together and we all agreed on a plan. I had a biopsy done and was back at work by 10:30. Honesty, Teamwork, Kindness, Efficient! I was a new patient and very nervous about what to expect. Please find a different dermatologist as this Doctor and staff are completely worthless! First of all, the doctor completely misdiagnosed the issue and caused us to spend hundreds on products that didn't work. We went back multiple times but still the issue wasn't improving. In the end we went to our family practice doctor who actually diagnosed the issue correctly, and now the problem has been resolved. To add salt to the wound, at the last appointment they made my wife schedule a follow-up weeks in advance that she forgot about after we went to the family practice doctor. They never bothered to call to remind us about the appointment (or for any of the appointments actually) despite claiming to have a reminder service, and when we missed the appointment they charged us a $25 fee that they wouldn't budge on at all. This place is a scam and I really hope that those of you reading find someone better to help you! Please find a different dermatologist as this Doctor and staff are completely worthless!
