I hear he was once quite good. Perhaps it's being under the Caremount umbrella which has also become dreadful. All I can say is keep away.
First hip replacement went well. Second hip replacement he did not correctly place the ball nor screw. Had terrible pain and on going issues
I scheduled an appointment at the Jefferson Valley office for a resident and when they were dropped off, they were told by the staff that Dr. Small wasn't in the office that day. I called to reschedule and yet again, when the resident arrived, they were turned away because the doctor wasn't at the office. When I called to ask why this keeps happening, his staff just kept repeating "he isn't here today." What's the point of scheduling someone if the doctor isn't even going to be there? It was very unnecessary and frustrating. I will not be referring any patients to him anymore.
Awful bedside manner, makes fun of senior citizens for having wrinkles. Napoleon complex at it's finest. All around a crappy person.
