nightmare. worst medical and physcian decision of my life. Dr. Silver totally misrepresented the surgery he would be performing which has left my toe and foot swollen and painful 14 weeks after surgery. He actually withheld vital information about what surgery he could "possibly be performing" If he had given me that information i never would have agreed to the surgery. Now he's saying it may take a year for my foot to be close to normal. He certainly never said that in any pre-surgery consultation. He did not even look at the pre surgical intake form of the surgery center on which i indicated i was allergic to tape and proceeded to load my foot up with some bizarre looking zip loc tape which blew my foot up in a raw, meat-like blister filled lump which itched and burned beyond belief. Bottom line -- if you need bunion or hammer toe surgery, look elsewhere. there are a lot more competent docs out there. don't be fooled by his charming seemingly honest and open manner.

Stephen Silvers operated on two of my hammer toes about three years ago. He absolutely screwed up one of them and I have been suffering with it ever since. It swells every day and has caused me other problems. I saw him twice with regard to the problem and he said he did not have a solution. Unless you are in screaming pain do not have your hammer toes operated on. If you do, do not let this DPM do them. I shouldn't have done mine and have been sorry ever since.

Spring 2015 I was experiencing very sharp left heel pain from Plantar Fasciitis. So bad I could barely walk. I went to another physician's office and got a shot that gave me no relief. I found Dr. Silvers in the same complex as my hand doctor Dr. Freedman, West LA Hand Center. Dr. Silvers examined my feet and created marvelous orthotic inserts for my shoes that completely resolved my problem. I mean my results are nothing short of amazing! I am grateful to both St. Silvers as well as to his kind and professional staff. I could NOT be more pleased with the pain relief and restoration of mobility.
