Stay away from this barbaric man!! Had colonoscopy, not given enough anesthesia, was wide awake and screaming to stop during procedure and was not only ignored but nurses held my legs down so I couldn’t move. Filed complaint with ombudsman and he blatantly lied to his superiors and said procedure went smoothly. No regard whatsoever for others besides saving himself and not man up to apologize for traumatic experience. Stay away from this barbaric man!! The Dr was terrible didn’t pay attention when I was talking, didn’t perform a physical exam (ie: didn’t listen to my stomach, press on my stomach etc), wasn’t familiar with my history or labs/tests (even though they had been provided to the office well in advance) and he basically disregarded all my complaints & concerns. His medical advice was to take a laxative daily when when if my concerns is diarrhea. A daily laxative isn’t safe to begin with! He pretty much was useless and he should really take a class on bedside manner, b/c he treats people like a jerk! I will be going somewhere else for a second opinion. I wouldn’t waste my time or money on this office. Only reason there’s 1 start is b/c I can’t give 0 stars and the office staff was nice, but not anything spectacular. Dr. was great and all the nurses too! He answers phone calls and emails promptly. Office and surical areas very clean.Thanks It was my first time having these procedures.

Went to CIG (Consultants in Gasroenterology) Concord, for my very first colonoscopy test. I was very nervous and afraid of what might happen, since it was a new medical procedure for me. Everyone from the receptionists to doctors were very professional. My nurses that were there with me on that day (Carol, Carla, Jacklin and Sheri) were very comforting and reassuring.They made me feel relaxed and well taken care of. Without their positive assurance and professional manner, I would have been a basket case. The staff here is top notch and will take very good care of you. They're the real deal. condescending, assumptive and horrible bedside manner. Did not bother to take time to explain anything to me or put in my chart regarding test results and when I could expect to feel better. Horribly constipated and all he could say was keep taking linzess, and over the counter laxatives. never reminded me he placed an order for xray of abdomen, I had to pursue that through my chart and Cleveland clinic. No follow up. Nothing about if you don't have relief by certain date call my office. I would have never picked him, I was assigned to him in a virtual visit. Save yourself time and frustration and do not bother seeing this doctor. There are sooo many other high quality doctors/gastroenterologists that can treat your health issues.

Worst experience ever! Terrible communication and unprofessionalizm. Will not go back.

I would not recommend Dr. Schwartz because he is not caring. I had severe stomach pain, and he ordered tests it seemed like only to appease me, when the results came back postive He ordered a script it didn't work so he ordered another script my insurance didn't want to pay He said there was nothing eles he could do and I should see another doctor.
