Steven Perez

My mother went to see Dr. Perez twice. The most recent time in Nov 2022 I went with her and he seemed rushed the whole visit. He spoke so fast that my mother stated she didn't understand him at times. He didn't really seem to take the time to listen to her issues/pain and did not even examine her. My mother has needed to see Orthopedic specialists for her bad arthritis in her knees and back. Each time, they keep wanting to refer us to Steward Medical Group Ortho. This place is terrible. DO NOT allow them to refer you to this place on 2122 E. Highland. We asked for a referral to see an Orthopedist NOT associated with Steward Medical Group and it's like pulling teeth. We never even got the last referral we requested for an Orthopedist with Honor Health. I would not recommend this place or ANY Steward Medical Group clinic for that matter.

Doctor Perez was attentive, detailed, and knowledgeable. He made accurate assessments, and good referrals.

Dr. Perez has been my primary physician for almost 2 years and he is hands down amazing. He is knowledgeable and knows his craft very well. His communication skills are great because he breaks down every medical jargon/ prognosis into plain language that I can understand. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Were patient and understanding even though I had to do all the new patient paperwork 15 min before they closed. Dr. Perez is thorough and knowledgeable. Feel better knowing my healthcare is in the hands of him and his staff.

Dr. Perez and his staff are always professional but more important to me kind and efficient.They listen I also never have to wait a long time for my appointment If it’s at 10:45 AM they see me at 10:45 AM not like some of my other doctors.

I felt like I was talking to a robot. I felt like when I gave him the symptoms I had to suggest the right course of action. Because I had gotten no feed back from him. Posting for my grand daughter she spoke very highly of him great doctor.

Dr Perez is a very nice man. That being said, he is not a great doctor. He seems to prefer talking to listening to patients. I told him I have been excersizing and lost 40 pounds so far and he just went on and on about how I needed to start excersizing. I told him I was experiencing bad nausea and have not held down solid food in over a week and he just nodded and kept talking about how I am healthy, so he was not worried. I circled the conversation back to my nausea and asked for medicine. I told him a specific medicine has never worked for me, and instead of doing his job looking up a similar medicine that might work, he just prescribed me the same medicine. Maybe if you don't have any major health concerns he is a okay doctor, but until he learns to listen more and talk less, I would not recomend him. Dr Perez is a very nice man. Steward Medical are a phenomenal group of medical professionals and I am grateful for the care and safety they have given me.Dr Perez is sweet, likes to talk and commands the visit but he is professional and answered my questions.I have recommended this group to anyone who has asked.

Dr. Perez is very professional, listened to my concerns to my reactions to a prescription change my cardiologist ordered, offered recommendations including a follow up with cardiologist.

Dr Perez and his staff are friendly and professional. The waiting room can appear crowded at times due to multiple providers and Covid restrictions, however I was never concerned that the proper precautions were being upheld

Aside from when they are busy and stressed they are a great staff. On time and quick on the visits.

I recently had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Perez as a new patient. I found him to be very personable and he spent time with me to know my health issues. I was very happy to be a new patient of D. Perez.
