Been going to Dr.Parnes for 8 years I feel he is the best ENT in the capital district....I have Meneire's disease and he worked with me continuously for close to a year to fix me and my VIOLENT vertigo attacks... shots in the ear, ear surgery and finally medication....In my initial consult with him he diagnosed me immediately!!! This is an experienced ENT and I hope he never retires...I still see Dr. Parnes for my yearly check-up....Meniere's Disease is forever but Dr Parnes NEVER GAVE UP ON ME AND I THANK HIM VERY MUCH for giving me back a close to normal life.....

i rarely do reviews but i just felt it necessary to inform future patients seemed like a nice enough dr. diagnosed my significant other went in ti see about having aspire implant for sleep apnea he suggested fixing his deviated septum first and another surgery for his uvala then would reconsider the aspire implant. he came highly recommend .. so we were excited about the possibility of getting him off the cpap machine . he also suggested have jon’s hearing be addressed because his hearing aids were so old. he said someone would be calling to set him up for surgery. two months later i called and they said or had been backed up and someone would be calling soon. to date no one ever called to schedule him. in the mean time he had is surgery june 15 with dr kuhar at albany ent at 123 evertt road albany owned by st peters. and not albany med!!! worst experience not only with him but staff ingeneral. his hearing aids were another nightmare. took 2 months and were adjusted incorrectly… i would not suggest ever using them. go to st peters !!! dr robert hughes best staff ever i rarely do reviews but i just felt it necessary to inform future patients seemed like a nice enough dr. diagnosed my significant other went in ti see about having aspire implant for sleep apnea he suggested fixing his deviated septum … More

the attention of the staff was bad from the nurse to the doctor Steven parnes .., he was not interested in treating me with kindness. he was in a hurry to finish the appointment. definitely horrible !!.

Dr Parnes removed my tonsils and adenoids when I was 29!! He was the only one to even consider me for surgery and I'm so grateful he did! It was a life changer!! He was amazing, as was his staff. 3 months later, he removed my son's tonsils and adenoids, and did another amazing job! I highly recommend him

At the start of covid I was having vertigo issues. Saw Dr Parnes over the next 9 months. I live an hour away from his office, but needed to resolve this issue. Was having difficulty functioning day to day. After a brain mri, I went to get results I was told they didn’t have them. The whole reason for that visit was to get results. Had to call primary to get them. He decided exploratory surgery was necessary, suspected perilymph fistula. When went for follow up they didn’t have the results. When questioned he said “I would have repaired it. Is your balance better? When you first came here you were falling down”. I was never unable to walk unaided. When I got the report it said the surgery was on a “man’s” left ear. I’m a woman and the surgery was on my right ear. So, back where I started and surgery didn’t eliminate my balance issues. Lost any confidence I may have had in Dr Parnes.

Dr. Parnes has been treating my Meniere’s disease for decades. He always been there for me, compassionate, and willing to see me with virtually no notice. He has also done sinus surgery for me, with terrific results (after another ENT had done this surgery previously... with very poor results for me). I trust Dr. Parnes totally, and would recommend him to anybody who asked.

He’s been my ENT for 24 years. He’s fantastic. Made a huge difference in my meniers disease symptoms. Did all 3 of my surgeries. Would highly recommend him

I've been a patient of Dr. Parnes for 36 years. He saved my hearing, he has done surgery on me many times and has been a great surgeon as well as physican. A quiet gentle man , but one with a wealth of knowledge. Thankful for him ????

Had balloon sinuplasty just recently. No communication skills and not much information before and after the surgery on the procedure, results or what to do after it. Was complaining to nurses about no coat hook in room and machines not set up correctly. I was in extreme pain but just kept going with procedure after watching me cry. For all the good reviews and him being an older doctor was very saddened by how I was treated.

DR PARNES IS THE BEST consider yourself lucky If you have the chance to have him in your care No one has more experience or can ever help more then Dr parnes he’s a legend belive that much !!!!

Dr. Parnes is the best ENT around. I had a salivary gland tumor removed in 2000 and he did a superb job. I go for check-ups every 6 months and very little wait time. Friendly staff.

Dr.parnes and his team did a great job with my tonsil removal..they made me feel comfortable and made sure i was ok before going in for the surgery..when in recovery they made sure i was fully alert and awake before sending me home. Durning my recovery time hone they would call to make sure everything was still ok and that nothing was wrong. They are a great team and i would recomend him and his team to everyone Dr.parnes and his team did a great job with my tonsil removal..they made me feel comfortable and made sure i was ok before going in for the surgery..when in recovery they made sure i was fully alert and awake before sending me home. Dr. Parnes is a great doctor. I had a tonsillectomy and rhinoplasty performed by him, 2-in-1 surgery and I healed wonderfully. I recommend him to any one!

My ENT for over 20 years.

He is the best of the best Operated on myself several times(sinus) and my son (throat) Figured out my daughter was not deaf like Saratoga Hospital prescribed she was.

Dr. Steven Parnes is wonderful ENT he found my sinus issues and fix them twice for me with two operations been to other ENT,s but nobody would listen yes I would totally recommend Dr Steven Parnes ear nose and throat specialist to family friends anybody

Dr. Parnes has horrible communication skills. I had a cyst in my jaw, he did a surgery to remove but did remove half of it.. I had to do the surgery over.Thats when I found that he made me go through a surgeru for no reason. The only good thing he did was refer me to a good oral surgeon. Who performed the surgery perfectly..
