Dr. Steven Stacy Orten

I had thought about having surgery for my under eye bags and upper eye lids for several years . I was just very apprehensive and scared that I wouldn't look like myself. I wanted it to look natural. Someone told me they had surgery with Dr. Orten and were very pleased. So, I had a consultation and decided to have the surgery. Dr. Orten is a very gifted Surgeon, but is also very caring and kind. It was very comforting that Dr.Orten prayed with my husband and I before the surgery. Also, Tracey was so sweet and comforting. Recovery was not hard, and I didn't even experience much pain at all. I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend Dr.Orten.

Dr Orten should be the "Gold Standard" of practiciners. A physician who takes great care of insuring YOU understand exactly what is to occur is a rare medical breed. He spent an hour or more explaining, showing etc every step of the way he was to perform my procedure. My operation was done in his office under "light sedation" I guess that's a correct phrase. Although I think it took about three hours I did not feel an ounce of discomfort or pain. The recovery lasted approx a week but again no pain, or discomfort. A call from his office once or twice insured I was mending as intended. This is a fantastic individual. My experience was much better than I could have ever expected, pain was minimal and my results are amazing! Dr. Orten came highly recommended and I am so glad I chose him for my facelift. Several people have said I look 20 years younger.

I was fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Orten through a friend. When I called the office and spoke to Tracy to make an appointment she was so delightful. I was surprised that Dr. Orten took the time to call me back himself. I am an almost 73 year old woman who is fortunate that my face still looks pretty good for my age but my neck was really bad. When I went for a consultation Dr. Orten showed be exactly what he was going to do and I knew from the moment we met I was in really good hands. Not only is he an amazing doctor which he is...but he is one of the most humble doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I look so natural....just a better version of myself. Let me just say that results are truly amazing. I am beyond thrilled with my results. My experience was fabulous from the very beginning. I have already told my friends that if they want anything done ....Dr. Orten is the only one i would trust to do it.

Had a face and neck lift in October including my upper eye lift. ..... I cried like a baby !! He did such an amazing job!!! I look better than i ever imagined.... the entire procedure was pain less!!! I am so happy I went with Dr. Orten.

I am so pleased with the results of my face/neck lift with Dr Orten. He listened carefully to my concerns about my crapey neck and face. I appreciated his caring attitude and felt like I got great care. From first consult to follow up visits, it was a positive experience. It’s wonderful he does procedure in his office using local numbing and sedation. It felt safer than full anesthesia. And less expensive than hospital time. Really recommend Dr Orten!

Dr Orten and his staff are fabulous! I hadn’t had any plastic surgery done before however I felt like my neck, soft jawline and excess eye lid really aged me. Several of my friends had gotten work done, 3 of them with Dr Orten, with favorable results. I will say I chose him because these 3 had the easiest time and got exactly the results they were expecting. My friend that went elsewhere wasn’t as happy overall. Another reason I chose Dr Orten is he didn’t use a general anesthesia. He uses a local, kinda like when you get a c-section. For me, it was an extra margin of error I didn’t want. I will say that if you need a skinny jean wearing dr with a fancy West Plano or Southlake feeling waiting room and a bunch of nurses leveraging their plastic surgery discounts, this ain’t your place. His office is very plain. Clean, professional, zero fluff. On a side note, he asked if he could pray prior to the surgery. I appreciated that. We didn’t discuss each other’s church affiliation or anything however drs can sometimes have a bit of a God complex. I liked that he called on experience and faith before working on me. I am so impressed with Dr Orten. His work is amazing. I had seen some ladies that had been to see Dr Orten and I was so impressed. I wanted to get rid of my turkey gobbler and jowels so bad. I am 61 years old and I am not ready to look 61. When I look in the mirror, I can’t even believe it’s me. I look at least 12 years younger and if you didn’t know me before, you wouldnt know I had work done. He is so kind,compassionate and caring. His office staff are the same. All of my friends are wanting to go see him. He is the BEST!

I saw Dr. Orten for a face tightening procedure (especially the jaw line as it was really starting to sag). The results of the surgery and chemical peel exceeded my expectations! I wish you could see the before and after photos - truly amazing! I received great consultation, wonderful care and follow-up. Dr. Orten is the best!

My daughter is in dermatology and had been "encouraging" me to make an appointment with Dr. Orten. I did and only wish I had made the appointment and had the procedure years ago. Prior to the procedure, he contacted another one of my physicians to discuss my health issues. The other physician contacted me to say how professional he is and how thorough in his pre-op investigation. The physician also shared with me that he is highly qualified in what he does. I received "concierge" level care.

Dr. Steven Orten was very personable, and gave me lots of personal attention. He allowed me to ask questions, and prep me prior to surgery by email, and phone. It was not easy to think of questions to ask, since I'd never had any work done on my face before. If you are considering a face lift, I suggest you research multiple doctors. It is a huge investment and you are taking a risk of not getting what you requested. I wish I would have read a book on Plastic Surgery prior to making a decision. There are some books and publications that explain what to expect, before, during, and after. Once the surgery is over with and they have their money, you will probably not hear much if anything from Dr. Steven Orten. I traveled from KC to Planto TX for this experience. When I returned home I had complications with a hematoma. I had to go to a local Plastic Surgeon and it was obvious that she was not thrilled with working on someone else's face work. This was not a good experience. In a nutshell, I'm 62, I was wanting to look 52. I admit I had pretty severe sun damage, but I paid 10k to basically look 62. :(. Dr. Orten had beautiful results with 2 of my girlfriends, so don't discount him as a choice, just do research and compare. Caring and supportive staff. Dr. Orten is talented, very patient and understanding. He explains the procedure, what to expect, recovery time and expected outcome. The follow up is outstanding. He wills see you as often as you feel is necessary to observe the healing process and outcome. Overall amazing experience.
