Dr Nelson was very good.He has an amazing bedside manner.He is very thorough when he explained to you what he's going to do and why you need it.I highly recommend Dr Nelson if you need any general surgery or anything doneWith care and consideration.

Dr. Nelson (and his surgical team) performed an emergency surgery (an Appendectomy) on my appendix, which had ruptured 2~3 days prior to my arrival at the ER. Due to my delay in seeking help, I had also developed Peritonitis. Dr. Nelson and his surgical team (Nurses & Anesthesiologist) were INCREDIBLE, and due to their amazing talents, kept me from developing Septicemia. When I first met Dr. Nelson (FMC ER), even though I was in agony, I was very impressed with his wonderful bedside manner. In my follow-up appts with Dr. Nelson, his excellent bedside manner continued. His Office Team are also very impressive, and were very helpful in my follow-up appointments. Dr. Nelson is a great listener, very gentle, caring, nice, and made me feel like I was a member of his own family. He takes the time to explain THOROUGHLY everything happening, and what he was going to do, all in a way I could understand. He was never condescending. Additionally, I never suffered any kind of infection, and the scars are minimal. If you have a surgery (planned or not) with Dr.Nelson, you can do so with complete confidence. I thought dr. Nelson was very nice and I believe that his treatment was satisfactory. My symptoms subsided with no further problems.
