Great pulmonologist. Very friendly, knowledgeable and dependable.
Dr. Meixler is an amazing doctor. I have underlying conditions and he has been so responsive and caring and thorough. He is very knowledgeable and has a wonderful bedside manner. I’ve been going through some worrisome symptoms and he is doing everything in his power to find me answers and has been amazing through the process. I am amazed how well his care is for his patients. Highly recommend him!
Why Dr. Steven Meixler gets a 5 star review. 1. Puts the patient and their family first by making sure all who are involved are in the loop and get the support they need. 2. Has a social worker. 3. Very thorough exams. You won't leave thinking, "He didn't check this, or order imaging for that." 4. Calls within minutes of an MRI with results. 5. Calls on weekends, evenings, is available for his patients. 6. Short wait time compared to most doctors. 7. Friendly and efficient staff. 8. Free parking. 9. Prescribes effective and appropriate meds and therapies. 10. Huge referral network.
Very condescending and judgmental. Was seeing him for years and initially was satisfied. Long waits to be rushed out in 15 minutes. Did not address my concerns and basically mocked me. Would not recommend

Dr. Meixler has an impressive base of knowledge in his field of pulmonology. He, as well, has a pleasant and reassuring bedside manner. I would recommend him to any patient who desires straight answers from a pulmonologist who will take the time to explain the patient's diagnosis and treatment options in clear and concise terms. The office staff is friendly and professional. His office is a bit hard to find if one does not know the area or if the appointment is during rush hour, so make sure you give yourself enough time to get there.
