Dr Macko is an awesome doctor. We've been seeing him for about 8 years. He listens well and takes the time to fully understand our health issues. His advice has always been right. We very highly recommend him.

Our visits with Dr Macko have always been awesome. He is very thorough, doesn't rush, listens to our concerns and gives a clear plan ahead. We've been going to him for about 8 years. He's the best.

Dr Macko is the best family practice doctor that I've ever encountered. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, patient and friendly. He tailors his treatment and review to the specific needs of each patient. He's not a one size fits all kind of provider ..IMO. Case in point, my wife and I have pushed for more holistic treatment plans with the absolute minimum dependence on prescription drugs .. he remembers that and only prescribes when he thinks it's 100% and even then there's a dialog. My parents are also patients of his and he cares for them in manner that is suited for them. He doesn't rush through the examination and consultation either. Dr. Macko is great but Katie at the front desk is incredibly rude. The front desk represents the entire company and I was so disappointed in how she treated the patients. Never looking up, not being helpful to patients who couldn't hear, and making patients wait with a broken tail bone. So disappointing.

Excellent attention to details.

Dr. Macko is ALWAYS kind, understanding, and patient. He never makes you feel rushed and makes sure you understand everything.

Today was supposed to be my second visit with Dr. Macko. The office called to say he was out and I would have to reschedule. I waited one month for disappointment and they wanted to put me back one more month. I don’t think this is satisfactory. Also because I had only seen him once before, Walgreens called me to tell me I was out of my thyroid medicine and the doctor need to call in this for the first time. On Monday, October 19 I called and left a message for Dr. Marcos macko The office called to say he was out and I would have to reschedule. I waited one month for this appointment and they wanted to put me back one more month. I don’t think this is satisfactory. Also because I had only seen him once before, Walgreens called me to tell me I was out of my thyroid medicine and the doctor need to call in this for the first time. On Monday, October 19 I called and left a message for Dr. Macko’s Assistant to have her please have the doctor call it in for me for the first time. I have not heard anything from Walgreens all week. Today is Friday, October 23 and when I talked to the office about rescheduling my appointment I reminded them about my thyroid medication that I have been on for 40 years and they said Dr. Macko has Been out all week and there is nothing they can do about it. I hung up and called back to talk to his assistant and again she did not answer so I left her another message. I called the main number back and ask them if they could remind her or if they saw her walking around if they could please have her contact the doctor. I don’t know if she was or was not in the office all week because he was out. I called my insurance company and they tried contacting them also to no avail. After several hours of tears I called back one more time, no answer, and left a message to beg them to have one of their many many doctors or PAs look at my chart and call the medication in. Now I will have to wait until Monday which will be well over one week without my medication. This is very very poor business practice. Do these people not realize who pays their paycheck? And these people say they care about people, really? I will be looking for a new primary care doctor come Monday. Shame on them. They need a much more compassionate staff

Dr Macko assistant has the bed side manner of a rock. She never answers a call directly, you can only leave a message. I have complained about her to the doctor in the past with no results. Even if you have meds prescribed by another doctor and have been on them for years without change, he will still hold you medications hostage for his 4 office visits per year. I also informed him of a genetic issue that could cause my death. He said he would schedule a test and never did. He is one of those people who value insurance money over your health. I LOVE this doctor! He cares about you and explains everything so you understand. He is the BEST!!

I love Dr. Macko, I have never had to wait to get called in for my appointment, the staff is great and the Doctor makes you feel very comfortable and he takes time to listen to your concerns...

Dr. Macko talks to his patients and not at them. Shares his own experiences with you that are related to your physical ailments. He respects and will discuss the input you have regarding your health issues which makes you feel that you are a partner in your treatment.

If your not taking new patients put that in your 20 minute introduction of useless information

Went to see this dr for a FIRST time visit. After waiting 2 months to see him, I was 3 minutes late (by the time they acknowledged me) and they told me I had to reschedule. When I made the appt. they did say you will need to come a FEW minutes earlier for paperwork... the day before the appt I get a recorded message saying come 30 minutes earlier.... Well I couldn't come 30 minutes earlier, had I known that was the requirement, I would have made the appt for a later time... after all I had 2 MONTHS advance to set the date and time. When I arrived, I swear, I was RIGHT on time... 1 minutes late before the receptionist stopped talking and laughing with the other receptionist... 2 minutes late, when she informed me that because I had not filled out paperwork yet, and at this time was now 3 minutes late, she would have to ask the dr if he could still see me. She came and told me I would have to RESCHEDULE!! I told her I would have to find a REAL Dr. Thank you, but NO thank you. I don't need a dr that cares that LITTLE about his patients. Thank God I wasn't truly ILL. Paperwork!!! Really! You can't see me because of paperwork! Most FIRST visits are more consultation anyway...I would not recommend this dr to ANYONE! and if it is his staff that is making decisions for him... he needs a NEW staff. Positively The Best Doctor I’ve Seen. He’s Very Patient And Honest. I Can Always Tell He Sincerely Wants To See His Patients Get Well. He Has This Calming Energy That Helps You Set Aside Any Worries You Have. Which Works Perfectly When Going To The Doctor. The Staff At Agave Is Also Very Friendly And Always Helpful. Great experience with the Doctor, however when it comes to prescriptions they get screwed up. Back and forth between Walgreens and the office and it takes awhile to straighten out. This has happened several times. Disgusted. And what is wrong with there web site. I cannot access it.

Dr. Macko is an excellent physician. He’s caring, listens to you, taking time with you and so helpful. Highly recommend him. We’re grateful for Dr. Macko.

Dr. Macko has been my GP for about a decade now, I have referred my mother and my grandmother and he has been amazing to all of us. He takes time with you and genuinely cares. He gets to know his patients and has even changed his personal schedule for me when something urgent comes up. I couldn't recommend him more, I only wish there were more of him!

I always dread going to see doctor s because they always make you as if their time is more valuable than the patient. Today I took my son. His appointment was for 2pm. We arrived at 2:06. They had the nerve to inform me the doctor may not see him. We waited for 30 min and was not seen. That confirmed my belief that medical offices feel their time is valuable, but mine is not. Well, that doctor's office just lost 4 clients. The good thing is that there are other doctors

Horrible customer service!! I’ve seen Dr Macko for 2 years since moving to Maricopa. Although Macko seems to care about your health, this is the 2nd time he’s prescribed medication only to not have the scripts called into the pharmacy. Macko even told me directly it would be better for them to fax the scripts to the pharmacy rather than for me to hand carry them to get them filled. I was in to see Macko on 7/25/16 at 9:45 am. It took 5 phone calls to his assistance Bee and never received a call

This is a caring staff and Dr Macko is a wonderful Doctor that cares deeply about his patients. He listen to your concerns and talks with about treatments. He doesn't push you into using prescription if OCT'S like vitamins will work then that is what we try first. I am moving and pary I find a doctor like him.
