Dr. Steven J Louie

I just moved to Boynton Beach. I take medication all year for allergies but in March they are not enough. The allergy specialist gives me a steroid shot in March which lasts for 2 weeks and then I go back to my regular medication. I went to Dr. Louie for the shot and look all my medical records and allergy tests with me and told him what had worked and what hadn't. But he refused to give me a shot. He said that he didn't care what the previous allergy specialist did, he was going to do it his way. My tests are less than a year old!. It is ridiculous how high and mighty some doctors think of themselves. It is all about his ego regardless of how much the patient suffers

Knowledgeable and very thorough. Took the time to listen to concerns and provided excellent follow up. Friendly and helpful staff.

My son suffers from allergies. Pollen,mold,dust mites etc.... No solution but medication every day previously. He has started allergy shots, my son really likes them he says it's the only thing that works. He is 10 years old. It's been really hard to watch my son suffer, can't sleep or breath due to extremely inflamed nasal passageways and lots of flem due to the allergies. We haven't been with Dr. Louie too long, but my hope is this is the solution . The staff are wonderful. Very professional and compassionate.

Very knowledgeable and solution oriented. If you don’t need allergy shots, they won’t push you into them. Extremely nice and caring people who listen to their patients.

I don’t like to write but the service I got from Dr Louie and his crew was phenomenal. I though my allergies never gonna get fix but I have hope that I can be cure. I have no words to describe how happy I am to go there. The staff are very polite and professional. The PA Mallory and the MA Lisi were very helpful. I rarely ever write any reviews but Dr. Louie is such a great doctor that I had to take the time to do it. I have been suffering with Chronic Sinusitis due to many issues but my ENT also suspected I had Chronic Rhinitis, so I was recommended to Dr. Louie by 2 neighbors. Last week I saw him and his crew, and they spent 3 hours with me in my first visit. I did tell them I wanted to test for allergies right away so they gave me instructions ahead of time to be prepared to be there for awhile, they also tested me for Asthma because of breathing issues, I am also waiting on my blood test results for a possibility of immune system issues, recommended by him and I am probably going to be treating my allergy problem with him for the next 6 months. He is great, HE LISTENS, HE IS POLITE, HE RECORDS EVERYTHING, HE EXPLAINS, HE IS NOT ON THE RUSH, HE ACTUALLY READS YOUR PREVIOUS RESULTS. I am amazed and happy I actually found a GREAT doctor! Is scary enough when you go visit an emergency room for severe head pain and the doctor doesn't read your CT SCAN report and sends you home with recommendations to see a neurologist for migraine awhile your CT report clearly shows sinusitis disease and infection... Hoping I could get a handle on my fatigue, which I am currently battling, I decided to visit Dr Louie, hoping possibly to run a few tests. As we ran many tests, the test I most noted.. was with her asthma. She didn't arrive wheezing, nervous, or any of the like... But the test which shows how well the lungs are taking in oxygen, definitely showed she is an asthmatic. She was prescribed Alvesco Aerosol for everyday preventative, 160 mcg, and Levalbuterol for emergency. I don't have to use it often, but the Alvesco prevent certainly works if needed. The dosage is lower than most adults, but works for myself. Dr. Louie is an extremely caring, knowledgeable physician, and I have found only perhaps 2 in the entire area, I would refer. He is over and above any that I have sought help, and his staff is exemplary an example that is also rare to find. Dr. Louie was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and willing to answer my husband's questions. Tests were done, and explained thoroughly. The office staff was friendly and there was no wait. Would highly recommend.

They are unprofessional. Made assumptions about my medical history, tested me for allergens I already told them I was allergic too and the Nurse Practitioner wanted to conclude that a symptom I was telling her about was acid reflux when I clearly told her it wasn't. I don’t know what I would do without them. The office and all it’s staff is excellant. Mallory and Monica are wonderful. There is patient kind effective care to be found here. It is well run, very efficient, no waiting barely for appointments. I have gotten much better. Thank You!

Not coming back, billing department needs to improve communication .this office care a lot about money , not about how you feel about patient satisfaction . Customer service needs to be improve in that department , is so important Dr Louie. Not referring anyone to this location.

This office has taken care of me for 20 + years.Dr louie is.a top of the line Doctor.His staff is professional and responsive. I don't understand the review complaining the staff had the phones on service early for the lunch break.That has not been my experience at all. Regardless, if that's the only complaint that one has with a doctors office,I can live with it.,.Doctor Louie has kept me well for a long time.I would recommend him to anyone.And I have ! Dr. Louie is such a kind and wonderful person. He has two wonderful PAs who I've met at multiple appointments they answer all my question thoroughly and know what they are talking about. I've struggled with asthma all my life and without the help of Dr. Louie I would still be struggling. Life has gotten easier ever since I saw him!

I have been struggling with “eczema” for 10+ years and never found a solution that made it better. I found Dr. Louie and his PA Mallory through my insurance, read the reviews, and saw that they had helped someone solve their lifelong allergy. I made an appointment immediately. After extensive tests, I really felt like I had found doctors who cared and wanted to figure out what was causing my eczema like rash. After a patch test, they figured it out! One switch to avoid a preservative I am allergic to changed my entire life. It wasn’t even eczema this entire time! No more itching and red skin. Thank you so much for this team. Dr. Louie is a wonderful doctor. He is intensely thorough, compassionate and takes the time to listen to my concerns. His office staff is also very caring and professional. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate Dr. Louie and the staff at Florida Allergy and Immunology Associates.

Nice people. However, they are terrible about cutting the phone off early before lunch and forgetting to turn them back on after lunch. Second time, I've tried between 11:30-12pm and 1pm-1:30 on the same day and they are still out to lunch. MUST BE NICE.

I usually do not find the need to post about my Dr visits, but after my new patient expierence with the Atlantis office I feel a sense of obligation. After waiting a month for an apt & an hour in the waiting room, gaining no new or relevant information about my concern, I left the office with the receptionist saying that I owed much more than just my copay. I really had hoped that they would share that information prior to visit. The Dr apologized and offered me a free sample (which was expired)

You would be hard-pressed to find a doctor who is more involved in your care than Dr. Louie. I had some allergy testing done... and he called me at 6:00 (after office hours) to tell me that he was reviewing my chart and came up with more ideas to help diagnose my itching. In my mind, this was WAY beyond expectations and speaks highly of Dr. Louie's commitment to his patients.

Dr. Louie was very informative, took his time in explaining my allergies. His back staff is very friendly and also explains everything before starting any test. The front office was very helpful with helping me understand my insurance and what my responsibility would be.
