I am sure Dr. Lobel is fine. I have a rule that Medical Associates of N GA is my doctor's office of last resort, as they are the worst to work within the area. This office seems to be run by everyone there and no one at the same time. And his main nurse is one of the most unpleasant and confrontational people I have ever had the displeasure to be acquainted. So, if you want a miserable, adversarial, and disjointed office this is the place for you. There are so many better options.

I've been seeing Dr. Lobel for 6 years. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He's so caring. I've had many procedures by him. He's always very caring during these procedures. When arriving for an office visit or procedures he's always very prompt. You never have to sit for hours, only minutes. His office staff is wonderful too. I like that you can call the nurse line with questions & get a prompt response from the Dr. I would highly recommend him.

Very disappointed after many years of using him and then treated like I am nothing after having open heart surgery. I always new is was Arrogant and always played down concerns I had and pain I felt. I had many procedure that helped and alway did all of his suggestions for pain control. He thinks a whole lot of himself.

Possibly the worst doctor in Georgia.

I cant believe these reviews, he gets either a 5 or a 1, that should tell you something. I would say somebody is not getting what they want! Steven, is the most personable down to earth Doctor I’ve ever met! I wished my shot worked every time, but I can’t blame him! ❤️

I have been with Dr Lobel for about 7 years now and he is by far the best Dr i have ever had. My wife had gone through many pain doctors and i was finally able to get her to see Dr Lobel and she now wonders why she did start seeing him sooner.i would recommend him hands down to be the best pain management doctor around.

Dr. Lobel is the finest Dr. I have ever met. He’s down to earth and communicates using words and examples I can understand. On my first visit I knew right away that he truly cared about me and wanted to help me feel better. His office runs like clock work and I never have to wait to be seen. He’s a solid 10!

Dr. Lobel is one of the finest Pain Specialists I've ever worked with, OR had the pleasure to have him treat me. I have developed spinal stenosis and it is VERY painful .... leaving me almost unable to walk. After a thorough exam and following an MRI .... he administered a steroid injection, from which I received almost immediate relief. I am hoping to receive regular injections for this wonderful relief, barring surgery. Thank you, Dr. Lobel!

I first saw Dr. Lobel with a crushed vertebra. I was in very bad pain. Dr. Lobel performed a procedure in his office and I walked out much more comfortable. He also recommended a treatment of daily injections to deal with osteoporosis. Dr.Lobel is very thorough and very personable.

Terrible doctor! Before he even spoke to me about my back pain he automatically assumed I was there to get opioids. He told me that if I were to take opioids that the police would come get my child and take him and there would be nothing I could do about it. I have NO idea what pain relief has to do with my child but whatever. He said it and it freaked me out and now I have let my pain consume me thinking that he could be right. I'd rather be in this terrible pain than to see my son taken from me. It's just NOT ok for him to say that and he has caused me to get worse worrying about taking anything for pain. I've tried numerous back surgeries, epidurals, pain blocks, etc. and I was only there to see what if anything he could do for my pain. I wasn't seeking out anything but some sort of relief. Please do not go to this doctor.

I love him and his RN, Sandra. I go to him for pain relief. He has never let me down. I refer to conceit as confidence. He is respectful, but has a fun sarcastic edge that I enjoy! He is a phenomenal professional.

I have been seeing him for years and he has been great. Not just a here take this medicine and lets see. I have had several procedures done and so far all have been very helpful. He is very forward and truthful so if you cant handle that he isn't for you.

Dr. Lobel is one of a kind he is a very caring doctor I've trusted very few doctor's in my life but he is awesome he takes his time with you he also addresses any and all medical problems you my have he has a heart of gold I'm so glad he's my doctor !!!!

Dr Label will hand you a RX for his "Dr Label's cream" (a snake oil) and thats about it for treatment, that and belittlement. He finds medical problems obviously beyond his reach to be humorous and will mock you and humiliate you for being in pain and for needing help. He stated in a laughing manner 3 times (even though I asked him to stop after the first,) that I will have an embolism and then a leg amputation. As a doctor—I really do appreciate Dr. Lobel! He is kind, very intelligent, knowledgeable, he doesn’t cut corners, and if he is always open to trying new things if there is a remote chance that it may benefit you! The only negative things I could say is about the policies and routines in place. Some of these are completely out of the doctors reach and some are bc of office policies. Appts are made relatively far out...and I only wish that they had a system that would alert you once an appt has opened up. Instead—if you want/need in sooner than your scheduled date—you just have to keep calling and calling and calling and hoping that you’ll catch one that has opened up. Never had any problems with Dr Lobel. I had a couple Epiderrals by him. Out of the numerous Epiderrals I’ve had over the years. The ones by him were painless! Great Dr.!

He really screwed up my spinal implant surgery my battery hurts all the time in the left side of my hip And where he’s put the leads Down my lower back has a huge bump on the back I cannot Even sit back in my chair or in my car seat Without being miserable I complained to him about this many times finally he said will x-ray it and then after he did his office called and said there’s nothing we can do what a big help that was!! In the end he would not even let my husband go back to my waiting room to see him with me which was so weird!!!

Atrocious, egotistical man who aggressively and over-dramatically pulled and threw my arm around with no respect for my obvious cries of agony. Told me there was nothing wrong with me other than seeking attention. He dropped my arm onto the table instead of setting it down, saying “Its not that you can’t move your arm. You just don’t want to.” Received a second opinion a week later and was determined my rotator cuff was almost completely torn off. It took several hours of surgery and months of PT to recover only partial function. Since he later received a suspension for making offensive comments to other patients, this was clearly not him on an isolated bad day. His patients either absolutely love him or deeply hate him, only because HE either absolutely loves his patients or deeply hates them. This attitude has been confirmed by 2 nurses who witnessed my “exam” by him. One followed me into the elevator to apologize for his actions. The other later admitted he was out of line.

The best ever! We saw many pain doctors that was just writing prescriptions, very few questions asked. He tells you like it is, and he has been the best for my 86 year old mom. He makes a point to look and speak to her, makes her a part of the visit. She doesnt talk much, but he is great with interacting and getting her to say how she feels. I appreciate his knowledge of drug interactions, and his caring of how you feel. If I need pain management, I will call him for my care!

He doesn’t allow anyone other than the patient to come back on the first visit. That is extremely creepy and wrong.

Dr. Lobel was recommended to me by Resurgeons and I am grateful for that. I fractured my lower back and he is the only doctor who has given me any relief from the pain. Through his exercise program and more on my own m pain is gone.

Great experience . Very professional, competent and effective. Recommend highly.

Arrogant beyond belief. Thinks he walks on water. I would rather be in pain than deal with him.

He told my mother that she had no other option but SUICIDE! If I could rate him lower I would. Literally walking, talking trash. Egomaniac, imbecile. DO NOT use this "doctor".

Very personable

Dr. Lobel is wonderful. He listens to my issues and works hard to try and find help for me. I have a difficult disease to work with and he never stops looking for help for me.

We are pleased beyond our expectations with the care and concern Dr. Lobel and his staff have shown my husband. Thank you for taking good care of him!

I absolutely loved him and feel he cares about you and very smart. Can't always listen to some of these reviews...I can't imagine any doctor saying you would be better off committing suicide.

I have been dealing with severe chest pains for over 10 years. After seeing many doctors and having numerous tests done, it was nice to see a doctor that looked outside the usual “here take this medicine.” Dr Lobel discussed our options with us and we agreed to try a Botox injection. I have a rare form of muscular dystrophy so Dr Lobel called another doctor to make sure Botox would be safe before we made the next appointment. Less than a week after the injections and my pain level is a lot less.

I have never been so disappointed in my 55 yrs of life. I went to his appointment right before going to my rheumatologist appt. I had been in crippling pain for yrs...he told me it was fibromyalgia, arthritis and possible connective tissue disease. I was so hopeful to have help instead he acted as if everything was in my head. All meds he prescribed were $350 - $780. He’s arragant,cold and uncaring. He did nothing for my pain at all. Treated me like I was beneath him and my pain wasn’t real.

Excellent doctor and staff!! Dr. Lobel is extremely knowledgeable and quick to get to the proper diagnosis and treatment of your issues. He explains what is happening in your body, why you need certain procedures or treatments. He has been able to get the perfect balance of medication for treatment of my pain issues without over treating my pain with unnecessary medications. I totally trust this doctor who I have been a loyal patient for over 3 years.

If you are looking for a humble, compassionate, professional doctor. This is not the place for you.

Being a medical professional has made me very choosy when it comes to selecting physicians. I have been nothing short of elated with the excellent care I have received for the past 8 years from Dr. Lobel and his wonderful staff. Even though I moved to a neighboring state four years ago there is no way I would even consider changing doctors. I only hope I've moved on to my eternal reward before he retires from practice. He's super smart, witty, humorous and compassionate.

Dr. Lobel is truly amazing! He has assisted my mother in her long term pain management for many years. He truly cares about his patients and takes a great concern in each one. My mom is 82 years old, and has had severe back pain from the 70's when injured at her workplace. She has had 3 failed back surgeries. My entire adult life she has been in pain. There is not anything that can be done to completely make her suffering go away. His caring & kind ways along with his knowledge of all medications and how they interact with the other meds eased our family's mind. He is not there to give out "pain pills".
