I have been in the care of Dr. Kunkes for several years. He is and always has been a caring doctor. One who quickly relieves the stress you may have in awaiting test results—he gets them to you quickly. He is thorough and easy to talk with. He listens patiently to any questions you may have. Dr. Kunkes is very thorough, professional and caring. He has excellent "bedside manner" and takes the time to answer patient's questions and concerns. Before you leave his office, he makes it known that you may contact him at any time for medical issues.

He is the very best.

My visit went very well. The office strictly adhered to Covid-19 standards, everyone wore a mask and office was immaculate. Dr. Kunkes was very thorough with his questions and very focused on my care. I absolutely was thrilled with his attentiveness to my overall well being.

My apt. with Dr. Kunkes yest. was very good. He was pleased with my healthat this time. I felt good about it too.

Dr Kunkes is amazing! He listens, explains and is very thorough. He is a very kind and caring physician.. He takes his time , never feeling rushed. I know I'm in good hands with Dr. Kunkes.

Every visit with Dr. Kunkes is always exactly what anyone would want in a doctor. I have been a patient of his for nearly three decades and will remain so until he is no longer in practice. His knowledge and experience are only surpassed by his compassion, integrity and genuine care. I know I am very fortunate to be a patient of his.

Dr. Kunkes has been my cardiologist for 23 years. I now travel 1.5 hrs to see him since I’ve moved from Fairfield county. I wouldn’t have it any other way. He has seen me through stents and ultimately a quadruple bypass. I’m alive today because of his incredible care.

Dr Kunkes is a dedicated, thorough, highly skilled and compassionate physician who goes beyond what is expected. He has treated my family for many years and I trust him completely.

The best very caring and knowledgeable

Dr. Kunkes has been my cardiologist for over 30 years. He is well known in this area for his high standards of care, his up-to-date knowledge, and his focused attention to each patient. His office is always impeccably sanitized, his staff is hand-picked and excellent, and he stays very close to his schedule.

Dr. Kunkes is a wonderful doctor and the most important thing is I trust him...very personable. Like other doctors in todays world he is on a tight time schedule. It would be nice if there was time to have all your questions answered and explained.

He is my father's cardiologist and we love him. For 20 plus years he has always been over acieveving and conscious of my father's issues. Excellent at his knowledge and guidance.

Steve was outstanding as usual, but even more so this time. I called in with some pain around my pacemaker and he made time to see me right away. Did very thorough exam and fortunately it was not critical. Also referred me for a pacemaker check up and other tests. Put my mind at ease. I do so appreciate what he has done for me all these years! Dr. Kunkes is a great cardiologist and, more importantly, a real mensch. He really cares about his patients (even convincing me to go on statins after years of resistance), he is totally thorough and professional, and best of all - he laughs at my jokes! I couldn't be more pleased.
