Signs all over office say they will no longer take Medicare in Bullhead office

I am a fairly new patient to Kozymary Pain Management. I however am not new to needing pain management. To date I am incredibly disappointed, I have only seen the PA’s and each time they were abrupt. Their policy for monthly UA’s is excessive. The wait time before being called back for my 15 min appointment to treatment room has been in excess of 2-3 hours. The staff has treated me like I’m drug seeking with zero regard to my history and why I am in need of pain management therapy. What I will be seeking is a new pain management doctor, one who can manage their practice efficiently and also shows their patients some compassion.

Dr. Steven Kozmary is the best. He is extremely knowledgeable in pain management. Everyone in the office is wonderful. It makes all the difference in the world when one goes to a pain management doctor for chronic pain knowing that everyone is so kind and helpful. I really miss Dr. Kozmary. He is a very excellent Dr. I live back in California again and there aren't very many good P.M. Dr's here. Plus the DEA is scareing them all. Been a patient at this clinic for 4+ years and feel well-cared for not only by Dr. Kozmary, but also his entire staff. I am extremely grateful to have well-versed people treating my physical ailments, as well as helping me understand a variety of treatment options that encompass my mental and emotional well-being. I have been Dr. Kozmary's patient for 15-20 years. Procedures have changed since and now I only get to see his assistants, which I don't particularly care for. I wouldn't mind once in a while but it's all the time. New patients should know they won't be seeing the doctor. I imagine with all the pain doctors you have to go thru the mill to get your pain pills. It's a hassle with all the years I have been on them. Dr. Kozmary makes you turn in a piss test every time you need a prescription of pain pills. I think the test should be randomized. It's a lot more humane.

Don't go here! They over medicate and have one of the worse office staffs! They over book and you can wait hours. One of their PAs is so bad...don't get mixed up with this office!

The staff is RUDE ! The billing practices make the patient feel as if your pulling teeth. Horrible experience. . .

I’ve been to a to many to count pain management specialists and I never had such great professional an outstanding courtesy and attention to detail then here at Dr. Kozmary’s. Thank you for helping me in so many ways!!

Dr. Kozmary & his staff are very knowledgeable. You don't feel rushed. You feel they care & their willing to work with you. They listen closely to what you have to say.

Dr Kozmary is absolutely amazing. He really took the time to personally get to know me and understand my situation. I had an issue with the Pharmacy, and the staff at the clinic was very helpful in solving the problem. Very nice, friendly. Yes they can be busy and a little bit of a wait. But that’s because he has a lot of patients and I’m assuming that is because he is so good and is very highly recommended. Thanks to Dr Kozmary and staff Dr Kozmary is absolutely amazing. the providers are good listeners and always helpful

The staff at Kozmary Center really cares. They are busy but well worth the wait sometime. I find the staff are helpful and willing to go above and beyond when I have more pain or issues with an RX.

"Concerned family member" Dr. Kozmary is an excellent doctor. He is caring and understanding. I would not think about finding another doctor to help my family. ***However; the front office staff is very different story. They have do not have any compassion or feeling for patients. They were RUDE to my family member and other patients in front of me and the rest of the patients waiting in the lobby***

I have been calling this office for a week message after message. I can not get anyone to call me back.when I do get to talk to someone she always transfer me to a answering machine. I am so frustrated! I have been going there two years, and pay cash every month. This is not right!

This is the WORST OFFICE I’VE EVER BEEN TO!!!! Every time I’ve been seen I have waited for OVER 2 HOURS to see the Doctor. The staff is rude and you’re just a number here! They’re annoyed if you ask questions or even speak. When the Doctor finally comes in he is in such a rush, he doesn’t even listen to what you have to say, and you literally only get 5 minutes with him. He recommended a surgical procedure but refused to answer any questions or go into detail about it. His reply was, “if you have questions you can ask my nurse.” And WALKED OUT THE DOOR AS I WAS TALKING TO HIM!!! He handed me my paperwork and said give this to the nurse. It was my personal file and another 2 patients files as well! Had they’re social security #, address, and all their private information!. When I went to give it to the front desk to tell them I have someone else’s paperwork, I was scolded and told to go sit down and wait my turn to check out! It took another 30 minutes to wait just to check out. The doctor had written my prescription out wrong and it has taken me 2 WEEKS to get ahold of anyone to try and fix it. The nurse assured me she would call it in, but never does!!! Nobody answers the phone, no one will call you back, and if you do get ahold of someone they’re incompetent! When I asked her why she keeps telling me she’ll call it in and then doesn’t she replied, “the wait on hold was too long for the pharmacy.” Wow. I’m so sorry to inconvenience you, I’ve only been out of my prescription for 2 WEEKS!!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! This place is a joke! This is the WORST OFFICE I’VE EVER BEEN TO!!!! Dr. Kozmary is a talented anesthetist with a good bedside manner. However, over time, I saw less of him and more of his support staff. The turnover of staff is quite high. I went through several staff in a couple years time. Sometimes paperwork got delayed. Tempers sometimes flared in view of patients. Sometimes jokes were made about patients. Wait times in excess of hours, overbooking, some sketchy types, ambulances for patients in distress & high utilization of opioids are why the lower rating

Dr. Kozmary is a knowledgeable, caring pain doctor. Once my pain Dr. that I had seen for over ten years closed his office I went looking for a new one. After seeing many unqualified, uncaring doctors I finally found Dr. Kozmary! He has shown me that there still are doctors that truly want to help their patients and it is not just all about money.

I really thought I was going to the right place for my pain. I have degenerated disc disease L1 thru T12. All I got was drugs and more pain after the Ablation. Dr Kozmary nicked a nerve and never addressed it. Now I have additional area of pain that the current narcatics don't help with. Not once has anyone called to check on why I won't return. My new Dr Baumgartl looks at everything that may prohibit my care. Plus he does Stem Cell treatment but first he is assisting in helping me lose weight during my care and truly cares that all options are considered. What a huge difference in care. If you must have pain care, this practice is the very best! Very helpful and caring staff who go above standard care. I would highly recommend to anyone.
